Ubisoft's open-world hacking adventure Watch Dogs will launch on May 27, according to a leaked trailer and promotional materials. The trailer, apparently leaked through Xbox.com and spotted by Videogamer, notes the game will come to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. A Wii U version will be released at a later date. Ubisoft is expected to reveal more details on Watch Dogs later today.
ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN I CANT GET THE VIDEO TO EMBED BUT ITS IN THE POST BELOW THIS ONE

I've been yearning for this game. I can't wait to fuck with other players and hack all their shit and run. I wonder what things they've improved upon for the co-op with the time they've had to work on the game. I'm so happy we're getting an even better polished game due to the delay (but I wasn't happy about the delay) I'm really interested to try and find clues about the assassins creed universe in this game; since the assassins creed universe is connected to the watch dogs universe. Much like how portal is in the same game world as half-life
my hype cannot be contained was hoping it would be released in april though
The trailer is nothing like what we saw during E3. Sigh, I guess I was hoping for more. The only thing that sets this game apart from GTA and other sandbox games is the whole "control your environment" thing, and that seems like it'll lose its novelty very quickly and be nowhere near as large-scale as we were lead to believe.

If you really want to good graphics buy the PC version.

Looks good for the ps4, and as above says. Get the PC version if it bothers you so much. Maybe you should wait for a demo or something before making such assumptions
A Wii U version will be released at a later date
C'mon guys really
Wow, those graphics look terrible, and the trailer is nothing like what we saw during E3.
PC version is what we saw at E3.
This will certainly be an excellent game to start the summer off with.
C'mon guys really
One theory for this is that with MK8 coming out in the same week so they delayed Wii U version so the game actually has a chance at selling decently on the Wii U, and that it seems to need a bit more optimization or something.
Lmao if you think the graphics in this new trailer are bad, clearly you havent seen this
C'mon guys really
Watch as they probably slap the Xbox 360's graphics onto the WiiU version, despite the WiiU being capable of far better than that.
I wonder how detailed Chicago will be. I bet I can use what I know to actually navigate the city.
Watch as they probably slap the Xbox 360's graphics onto the WiiU version, despite the WiiU being capable of far better than that.
The Wii U version is in between last and next gen when it comes to grpahics.
I personally think they delayed it because they dontgive a fuck and probably haven't worked on for while. EDIT: Haha whoops. My bad guys. I meant WiiU version. I perfectly understand the need for the delay, I was talking the WiiU versions. These dumbs are my fault
Yep that's exactly why people delay AAA titles that cost millions, because they can't be bothered.
I personally think they delayed it because they dontgive a fuck and probably haven't worked on for while.
Or maybe the delay was to polish the game, improve stability across the board, and extend QA sessions so the game is a great experience for everyone at launch. It likely costed them MILLIONS to delay this game.
I personally think they delayed it because they dontgive a fuck and probably haven't worked on for while.
Because that's why Ken Levine delayed Bioshock for a month. So he could just fap to how much money he was going to get, not make last minute touches to make the game as good as they thought they could make it.

Are you talking about Infinite or previous Bio games?
Or maybe the delay was polish the game, improve stability across the board, and extend QA sessions so the game is a great experience for everyone at launch. Ubisoft shares dropped something like 25% after they announced the delays of Watch_Dogs and The Crew, according to this article. hopefully it's all for the best though, knowing ubisoft they wouldn't introduce a new IP without getting it polished to a mirror finish
Are you being serious? Are you talking about Infinite or previous Bio games?
Infinite was delayed 3 times, but no he wasn't serious.

Half of me wants to preorder but I know I should probably wait for it to come out and see if it's any good.
They missed the Christmas period with the delays, so yes.
I don't mean lost millions in sales. I mean the amount of money lost behind the scenes due to the delay of the game. I'm sure many investors we're pissed, their millions marketing spent around the world for a release date they didn't meet, the amount of money it took to polish, improve stability, QA, and pay all the people doing it. And now they have to spend millions marketing the game all over again.
Yeah well, sale period isn't the only expenses of producing a game I know, that was just off the top of my head though.
My birthday fuck yeah
This game isn't really that innovative. The only thing that sets it apart from other games like it is the hacking and doesn't look like it's that fun to do.

There is probably a lot we don't know about the gameplay
