"This is what Sweden should look like"
-Swedish politicians.
Go back to your muslim country or learn to deal with people with different beliefs to you if you can't take it
Oh I remember this, this was like 2-3 years ago. Absolutely disgraceful.
Yeah, this happens every day in Sweden.. I literally cannot step outside without encountering an angry Muslim mob protesting a Lars Vilks film. Our once proud white nation is now in shambles.

Skin color has nothing to do with this.

I assumed by the title that this was a (dumb) comment on the immigration politics in Sweden
wow, you cannot be rational with these types of people, can you?
One small thing and it's a fucking explosion of snackbars.

Although to be fair, I'm very certain this video was made and shown with the sole purpose of being offensive and provocative. The fact that there were already a large group of police confirms it.
So in my opinion, both sides were equally stupid.

Who cares? Doesn't the video maker have a right to express his creation?
Lars Vilks is known for making controversial art and this has been the case probably for a decade or two so these reactions are nothing new. Like Lord Fear said, both sides behave dumb.
But I still belive that he should have the right to do these things. It's his choice if he want to take that risk.
EDIT: Oh wow the youtube comments is just filled with dumbasses
Who cares? Doesn't the video maker have a right to express his creation?
I never said he shouldn't allowed to do it. It is, despite what the Muslims claim, a part of free speech. But that doesn't mean it wasn't stupid of him.

The fact they rightfully expected police to be needed for showing a film speaks for itself.
I dunno why the Muslim students turned up to the film, knowing it was anti-Islamic in nature???
I'd just steer clear of that - not that I'm religious myself, but I couldn't help but find it offensive and in bad taste.
I'll say it as I always say it: People need to get the sticks out of their ass.
Jokes, vulgar, criticism... Learn to act like an adult and leave respectfully. Stop trying to encourage violence for childish reasons.
You know I take myself as someone who is pretty open and non-judgmental, but as a child living in the US(FLagdog things I'm kanadian) in a pretty conservative home growing up around that 9/11 atmosphere, the whole "Allah Ackbar" chanting does feel unsettling to me. I've heard it's the equivalent of "Oh my god" but logic doesn't come into it.
It is scary though that people can't control themselves seeing something that is against their beliefs, even if it's just designed to spark that.

There is a huge difference between takbir (Allahu akbar, which means "Allah is greatest") and "oh my god". They definitely don't equalize eachother. They have different meanings, they have different reasons of usage and so on.
At least in my country, people use it during prayers and political demonstrations.
These are the people the ruin the reputation of the rest of us. My parents left Iran to get away from the Iran-Iraq war. They were never religious to begin with so they adapted to Swedish culture quickly. Every year we have a big ol Christmas ham like any other Swedish family. We still celebrate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nowruz]Nowruz but that is nothing religious and is just a way to celebrate that spring is here. We're basically a brown Swedish family. :v:
And that is the way to do it. You don't have to give up all of your beliefs but you have to fucking adapt, it isn't so hard.
But yeah, this is far from an average day in Sweden. But my point still stands.

I know very little of the customs in countries in the middle east in general. That's just the general thing I've come across, so many times I don't know how to take it.

I've heard that Iranians are one of the most progressive muslim immigrant groups in Europe. Are other Iranians the same or is it just your family?
How come swedish cops are so tiny?
In Denmark we'd just had picked them up and lifted them aside if they were those sizes.
Why watch it then if it's anti-islamic?
I don't know these seem like the kind of people that would stand next to the pork in the supermarket and shout at you if you picked it up and try to chase you out of the shop.
"Isn't it illegal for you to draw your gun? Then we will report you too!"
URGHHH

Like, there are good immigrants and bad immigrants.
Good immigrants move here with the intention to adapt, follow the rules and laws, and accept that our culture is different.
Bad immigrants bitch and moan about things like this. Bad immigrants don't adapt and just wreak havoc.
These are bad immigrants.

My ex and her family are Iranian and her parents moved here during the Iran-Iraq war. They adapted really quickly and when I met them they were really awesome and well-adjusted.

Just like there are artists that are actually trying to defend artistic freedom and those who hide behind it to undermine, in this case, the image of the muslim community.
I mean, he has done a talk for that Geller lunatic at her convention and said he would do one for the KKK if they asked him to. There's no way in hell he is "fighting for artistic freedom" without an anti-islam agenda behind it.

He's doing it to make a point, he does the same shit to Christianity.

Iranians have the benefit of the fact that they're anti extremist because of the huge amount of extremist tension they have with the Arabic peninsula.

All swedes are tiny little men compared to danes :v:

EDIT: To me it seems more like some kind of backpedaling to make him look less biased.

The point he's trying to make is that when he paints Jesus having sex with kids nobody cares, when he paints Muhammad as a dog he gets rogue countries officially offering rewards for his assassination.
Wow they should play this during the immigration process.
