-snip- was about to fix it for OP
Running out of ideas huh?
That really looks terrible.
So a snail wants to be fast and then he becomes fast? I can't for the life of me figure out what the plot of this is going to be.
Not as bad as Rise of the Guardians though
So a snail wants to be fast and then he becomes fast? I can't for the life of me figure out what the plot of this is going to be.
A quote from the description. I assume it's the plot?
From the makers of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda, Turbo is a high-velocity 3D comedy about an underdog snail who kicks into overdrive when he miraculously attains the power of super-speed. But after making fast friends with a crew of streetwise, tricked-out es-car-goes, Turbo learns that no one succeeds on their own. So he puts his heart and shell on the line to help his pals achieve their dreams, before Turbo-charging his own impossible dream: winning the Indy 500.
[editline]23rd June 2013[/editline] Oh and it also has Snoop Dogg and Samuel L. Jackson.
Poor Dreamworks. It must suck being the second best at animation movies. Always in Pixars shadow.
i will watch it if only for snoop dogg [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline] nvrm i just actually watched the trailer and it's fucking garbage not even snoop can save this
he clearly isn't the fastest snail if the other snails were already waiting there at the end for him
he clearly isn't the fastest snail if the other snails were already waiting there at the end for him
The magic of trailer editing.
he clearly isn't the fastest snail if the other snails were already waiting there at the end for him
~that's called editing. It wasn't one continuous shot. EDIT: The only thing faster than turbo is apparently your ability to ninja

so a snail gets knocked onto a highway, sucked into a street racer's air intake, somehow survives, and is transformed into a car-snail by the somehow totally liquid N2O present in the engine. Yeah, no thank you.

it's a cartoon not a physics lesson it's like saying toy story is bad because real toys aren't sentient autonomous beings [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline] that being said it still looks awful but not because it's unrealistic, it's awful because it's a bad movie

Like the snail might as well have been jumping into a blender...an 8 cylinder supercharged blender full of explosions.
This film is gonna cause some kid to drink nitrous oxide thinking he'll go fast. That is both saddening and hilarious.
At least toy story didn't attempt to explain how the toys were alive.
This doesn't attempt to explain how he survived though. It's just a plot device to make him supersnail
This film is gonna cause some kid to drink nitrous oxide thinking he'll go fast. That is both saddening and hilarious.
Isn't n2o just laughing gas though?
Is the ending about the snail actually being dead from being sucked into an engine and the movie is just his imagination.
Well, I'm glad they were able to sum the entire movie up in 2 minutes and 26 seconds.
Dreamworks has always been shit ever since they started milking Shrek.
Dreamworks has always been shit ever since they started milking Shrek.
But but but how to train your dragon
Isn't n2o just laughing gas though?
Drinking liquid laughing gas would probably do the opposite of what this film implies. You wouldn't be able to move and then you'd vomit all over everything and die.
oi, why doesn't da git just paint 'iz shell red if 'e wantsta go fasta
oi, why doesn't da git just paint 'iz shell red if 'e wantsta go fasta
Coz 'ez muckin' about
I think it looks kind of great. At least if it's on TV I might stay with it. Can't really see where the plot goes when he gains super speed though.
If this movie fails, it's gonna be sad for dreamworks since they have a tv-series based on it in production. Yes, a tv series based on a movie that isn't even out yet.
