• Question About 4-Track Cassette Recorder

Ok, so I have a few questions. First of all, I am thinking about purchasing this to record music on. I know digital is better, but I love analogue and this would be a bit cheaper. Can I use these tapes in the recorder to record myself and bandmates playing? And how do I go about doing a final mixing? Do I take the tape out and put it in a mixer? Sorry for the noobish questions. I am just trying to gain all the knowledge I can before starting.
basically yes to everything except the final mixing. unless you buy a multi-track recorder you won't be doing any final mixing beyond the two tracks on cassette.
