There is no doubt that this can affect you and there is no doubt corruptions is happening, as you may or may not see. As for me, I have been slowly coming down to my real senses over time and everyone seem to be. Including my whole family. Dad agrees, everything has become so bland and shitty. No interest any more, and government has become our enemy. System is getting fucked up. And I notice general happiness went to same as it in our family. Almost everyone agrees I have spook to. And for one, I remembered my history teacher saying "History repeats itself". And as far as I can remember, there was lot's of corruptions in quite short lifespan when humans started counting years. So, I noticed that this thing is just going to get more shitty, and feeling about violent future is just becoming bigger. Shit really is becoming serious.
Shut up man, they'll kill you!
If shit gets serious, we can switch to diaherrea
To be more specific, OP, the phrase is "Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it". That's the only mildly interesting thing I have to contribute.
are you just saying this out of your ass because i think youre a hippie
Oh well I'll probably be behind my pc anyway
It's way too early in the afternoon to be drunk, OP. But on topic, I would say overall government corruption has decreased. At least it's much less publicized. Thousands of years ago, one man would have nearly infinite power and money. Now we have more balance and representation.
Corruption will always exist because of human nature yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah etc. Not sure if I believe that or not, but that's an answer you'll probably get a lot.
are you just saying this out of your ass because i think youre a hippie
this avatar is from some short lasting meme
What are you trying to say?
Don't you mean effect?
Corruption will always exist because of human nature yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah etc. Not sure if I believe that or not, but that's an answer you'll probably get a lot.
Makes sense, but still the feeling of general consciousness is not same as couple years before. I didn't hate government because there was no reason to. Now, there are more and more reasons showing up.
They used to kill you if you didn't believe everything they did. I'm going to stick with people are acting like the world is turning to shit when it is not at all.
What is the point of this thread. All I could interpret from the first post was "I'm realizing corruption exists in the world."
Op sounds like kids I used to know in school who listened to SOAD and thought the government was always after them
What are you trying to say?
The everyday feeling of being alive is changing due to corruption. And to add, not just me but many other people I have spoken to have same feeling of this happening.
sarah palin is a lizard in disguise shes trying to ruin our christian faith
Op sounds like kids I used to know in school who listened to SOAD and thought the government was always after them
No emo here.
If shit gets serious, we can switch to diaherrea
Or for the aliens, shisno
I don't think all of the world's problems can be blamed on corruption. Incompetence maybe, but not corruption.
I don't think all of the world's problems can be blamed on corruption. Incompetence maybe, but not corruption.
Yeah agree, I believe financial crisis is playing large role, but how our country plays with our money (taxes) is insane.
shut the fuck up
some people aim high and when they get there they tell themselves "I'm good because I did something awesome, and everyone else didn't. Therefore those others aren't as good or smart as me" in the end this leads to "since they aren't as smart as me they only need to know if they really need to know" That's how I look at most stuff regarding governments [editline]4th January 2011[/editline]
shut the fuck up
would be kinda hard to keep a discussion then, wouldn't it?
doesn't matter what type of government is in place, it's going to be corrupt
Yes, it looks like they are corrupting our English teachers.
For one I am not native English speaker if that means something to you.
Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. The more power anyone or anything gets, the worse things get, there's no way around that. This is why you should never trust anyone who seeks or wants power, it can lead to no good. The best leaders are the ones who don't want to be leaders. These are the ones who hand over power as soon as possible because they don't want it. The irony of course is that the ones most likely to get power are the ones who spend the most effort trying to get it, meaning they are the ones who most want power, meaning they are the ones who SHOULDN'T have it.
OP is twelve. ANARCHY, etc.
OP is twelve. ANARCHY, etc.
Dude I am not for anarchy because then people could kill you for assumptions like that.
They used to kill you if you didn't believe everything they did. I'm going to stick with people are acting like the world is turning to shit when it is not at all.
Agreed. Things have become pretty good when you don't have to worry about getting killed in your sleep by guards, just because you happened to call a noble a prick one time.
