How long does THC stay in your body/ Drug tests for employment - General

So, I am the occasional once every two week smoker. If I am around friends who have some, I will smoke. I was curious how long it would stay in my body. I am 6 ft and 185 lbs roughly. I am seeking for employment, and the last time I smoke was 4/20. I was also curious as to if when I am filling out a job application, if they do not have me sign off for a drug test, can they still test me?

I did an interview, then a personality test and when I was done my boss handed me a sheet to take to the clinic within 24 hours or else they wouldn't hire me. I never signed anything. It's purely up to the company and their stance on substance abuse.

Which is why if you're a teenager, you need to get a job in the restaurant industry. If they drug tested employees, they'd be out of staff pretty damn quickly.

fun fact: even if they don't test you, just about all places of occupation have a little checkbox giving them the right to drug test you. and it's one of the boxes you have to check for your application to be valid. so, no, there's no way of really getting around a drug test, just hope wherever you even get an interview doesn't actually have a test.

It all depends on your metabolism and frequency of use.

Of all the jobs I've had in my life, none ever required me to pass a drug test. Is it a very frequent thing in the US/UK/English Canada?

it can stay for very long. depends how they test it. if it's a piss test, it'll last about a week or so, depending how much you drink, sweat, etc.. also metabolism.
