Post your most random detention you ever gotten...... My most annoying detention was when i was still an innocent yr8, i went to orchestra so i was late by 5 min to class because i need to pack up my instrument. my maths teacher told me that rules is rules so i ended up with my first detention on my birthday..... When you're late you get detention? At my school, we have a system called sweep. That's where if you're late, you get sent to a specific room for that day where you're not allowed to talk/do work with a teacher walking over you. But just for that class period. What sucks is that if you have any assignments due that day they are counted as late since you never turned them in. Good thing I've never been swept :3:

At my school there used to something like what DanTehMan had, called "The Tank." After passing period ended all doors would be locked, forcing you to go to the Tank. Mostly it was stoners who were purposely late so they could go in there and smoke weed with each other, because there were nobody was watching them. They got rid of it the next year.

I called the teacher a whore and I ripped up the assignment sheet then stuffed it down my pants. and I got a detention for that wtf

The lighting was really bothering me one day. So, I closed my eyes for a bit. I got detention and a call to my parents because the teacher thought I tried to sleep in class. My mother screamed at me for the entire day and eventually pushed me into our storage room and she locked me in there.

I've gotten detention for being late, but I would never show. They didn't even do anything about it. But when I was in the 5th grade, I got in trouble for laughing at a joke during lunch time.

Using photoshop instead of paint for an assignment in computer class(why have photo shop on the computers if we never use it?)

I didn't get a detention, but i high fived one of my friends as i walked into the class room late. Apparently i was celebrating i was late so i got kicked out for like 10 minutes. Don't worry I know i'm such a rebel.

Back in my old school if you were late you just walked in, sat down, and didn't make a big deal out of it. You being late doesn't affect the teacher's job in any way, so it doesn't make sense for them to care. In the end, you're just fucking yourself over by missing class.

I got a detention for standing up to copy homework in 6th grade. i stand up and the teacher goes batshit insane and yells "FOR THAT LITTLE STUNT YOU GET THREE DAYS DETENTION"

All of my detentions were justified and not random.

I once got a detention for eating an invisible burger after I finished my maths test. :(
