One World Trade Center wonder confirmed?
Can't wait for aggressive Gandhi
This game looks like it should be on a iPhone

They have finaly realized that beyond earth sucked.
I am worried the game might be casualized like Anno 2205 was.
not sure if i like the artstyle, it looks like one of those generic clash of clans clones

It has a similar artstyle to V, those Clash of Glands clones are all ripping off shit like the Civ games and Age of Empires.

i disagree, V looks more sleek in comparison

just compare the trees between the two pictures, like what the hell happened
Gameplay please
also its pretty lame that they censored Liberty Leading the People at 0:44
Civilization VI looks way better. I'm sorry you kiddos can't accept the fact that stylistic graphics can be good. Civ V looks and plays like shit in vanilla and this actually looks acceptable. I don't have a clue whether or not it'll be a good game, but it'll sure as fire look better than Civ V and you're as delusional as the others on the steam forums if you think otherwise.

what is an opinion
what is an opinion
Opinions can be wrong, but even then, what I said was objective. Rose-tinted goggles don't make something better.

your literally just judging how much you like how something looks; i prefer the new style but i'd never say it looks "objectively better" that is the opposite of what that means

please study objective vs subjective
I personally really like the new artstyle.
There are merits to both styles and I don't mind the new stylized look one bit. It's a bit more interesting to look at and, though hard to see in the picture, different things are just slightly easier to make out. Civ4 and Civ5 just look drab and boring in comparison, in my opinion.
looks like they're throwing it way back to Civilization Revolution from the xbox. that one had the most unique style out of all of them TBH
Stylized/optimized graphics =/= bad graphics
and if you're already "not gonna buy this" based on the screenshots: who the fuck plays Civ for the graphics?
RIP Beyond Earth expansions then. Not that anyone was asking for them.
Here's an article that discusses some of the big changes in Civ VI. simcity, partial unit stacking etc. I'm excited!

Well, it's definitely even more colorful now but anyway, I'm excited for this!

the important part is that you got to made yourself feel superior
I hope there's a bit of a day/night cycle in this one. I would love to see my city in the night.
It could also be a neat way to show the evolution of your units as they go from using torches to lanterns.
I just noticed that both this and Battlefield 1 are coming out on the same day.
This is going to be an interesting double release.
They ruined it man.
Now it looks like an app game. Not only that but it looks EXACTLY like Civ V with the Iphone treatment.
I know that there is only so many things you can do with Civ but honestly it looks like a new texture pack, not a new game.
Oh good, tourism is back. I really liked the idea of "offensive culture" to deal with opponents in a non-violent way so I hope it gets fleshed out further.

From the info they've released so far, there will be some BIG differences from Civilization V. (Unit stacking, cities covering multiple tiles with districts etc.)
I don't really mind the artstyle with Civ VI at all to be honest, it does look like a downgrade but I like the way it looks still. Gonna wait on some gameplay before I make judgement on it but as of now I'm pretty interested.
Hopefully it won't be as broken as Civ V was.

It's pretty obvious you're just trolling right now. Good job on that.
