Not really. Xbox didn't chug that much and they didn't show the fuel rod gun in the ending cinematic thing of the xbox demo.

High Definition refers to resolution. Not the arbitrary terms Game Developers use.

HD depends entirely on the quality. High-Definition, not High-Resolution. that said with resolution, typically, quality and definition is better and easier to see. Even 640x480 progressively at just 12 frames per second(such as a cartoon) is HD, provided it's clean enough.
