You'd have better luck posting it in the mapping forum. Nice work. Edit: Wait you already know it exists so why post it here
i've never played rp_townsend
-snip-
it looks bad sorry
Looks cool, OP. [editline]10:25AM[/editline] Apart from the fact that it's an RP map
how long does your map take to compile
I mean there are essentially a fuckload of RP maps so little children can run around and blast into their mic on DarkRP servers
rp is just there for little children to imagine themselves as police or gangsters or other people with power, and even then, they generally don't even do anything but stand there doing nothing, because everything is a bannable offence if you are not a little child playing it i am sorry for you
yeah it looks really bad sorry maybe the mapping forum can tell you what a displacement is
The second townsend was nice but this wasn't worth a thread at all, especially in GD
rp is just there for little children to imagine themselves as police or gangsters or other people with power, and even then, they generally don't even do anything but stand there doing nothing, because everything is a bannable offence if you are not a little child playing it i am sorry for you
RP playing =/= RP mapping RP maps are the most difficult because you have to take a lot more into consideration; why would somebody play it? How many business spaces and homes will you need to build? What will people use the most or not use at all, where will the busiest and emptiest spots of the map be? Also, detail. RP maps represent real life more than many other map types, to make the role playing scene a lot more believable.
The problem is, you're developing maps for a shitty cause.
Mapping for gamers is almost never a good cause, gamers are unappreciative fools. But mapping for realistic RP usually provides better map quality, which is good on your mapping record. If you wanting to get hired for level design in a company, they care for the quality of your maps in your portfolio, not the shitheads it is being done for.
