"The Pippin launched at CES 1996 as a network computer that could also be used to play games."
Couldn't the Macs of the time already do this ?

"Pippin".
Jesus Christ who the fuck names a console "Pippin"? Were they targetting the wide audience of children named Alfalfa?
I've always wanted to go to CES but I've never had the chance.
This will be my second year to go, haha. It's so much fun. I went 3 years ago and now I'm going this year. The future is filled with tablets. I can tell you that much. =)

This year looks to be the best one yet, Android everwhere, in phones, tablets, home appliances, Windows 8, new CPU architecture, Verizon's LTE network is going to be a huge thing too.

Yes and man were they fucking awful.
Just see the PSP, the UMDs are a bitch to put in and they break quite frequently compared to discs or modules because they scratch against their case.
They are also FUCKING LOUD.
