I was looking at Lithium Hosting, and saw that their Shoutcast hosting isn't too expensive. Now, I can almost guarantee that someone has suggested this before, but I think that I could run an internet radio station (and maybe have other DJs) that was for the airsofting community. Ya know, do a news report every so often about airsoft stuff, play some fuckin good classic rock (and maybe some other stuff), and just have a lot of fun with it. Whaddya think?
Airsoft podcasts by experts & field operators are occasionally interesting, but for the average airsofter there really isn't enough to discuss casually that could fill up a radio station's day-to-day programming. Talk radio is very hard to coordinate.

Okay, I had an idea. What if I was to do it like The Bob & Tom Show, on some of the classic rock stations? You have a few hours of people screwing around, then music and DJs on until like 10 PM and then have auto-DJ until the morning show returns at like 6 AM or w/e. I'm just spouting off shit.

You could talk about new weapons and gear being released, sales that sites are having, fields that are opening worldwide, safety issues (such as matters like SB798), have people write or call in to tell about their best or worst airsoft experiences, airsoft in media and entertainment, tutorials on various things, etc.

That was a funny conversation.
I had a girlfriend text me during a night game. I was prone in some tall grass, and I had my phone in one of my mag pouches, right up against a metal midcap. Accidentally left it on vibrate. It started buzzing just as the patrol I was about to ambush walked by not 15 feet away.
