So I'm replying to posts in a thread of mine I bumped (because I noticed something new in the videos) when I got this:

It says I can't post in that thread again for two months! What's happened here?

The moderators here [I]are[/I] pretty funny. Because, hell, if you bump it, you'll get banned.
Sounds weird given that we have the automerge function.
The thread is already bumped: my post would have automerged to a post I made replying to a post made after the bump.
