What better way to fill yourself with confidence (or not) than watching your car getting pancaked at just 40mph. Thankfully those days are (mostly) over and cars are nice and safe. I suggest you use this YouTube channel; if not, just search for your car's name and 'crash test' and you should hopefully get a result. http://www.youtube.com/user/euroncapcom/featured Search Channel at the top right I'll start, here's mine. ... No sweat. Except I don't have side air bags or a passenger air bag, but I'm usually the only person in the car, I'll just try not to go sideways at all.
Well, not technically my car quite yet, but... I feel perfectly safe.
Full sized sedan...seems to do well.
Is it bad that Youtube doesn't seem to have a video of my car? [editline]28th August 2012[/editline] /s
this is only at 40mph
As you can see the results are pretty good. This is my baby though, I only take it out every now and then ;)
Both my cars in one :v: Almost...
Oh god both those cars just basically die.
Oh god both those cars just basically die.
My Golf will probably be a little worse than that, because it's an Mk1 :v: Well I don't drive a car to crash it, so if I crash, I crash and what happens happens. [editline]29th August 2012[/editline] I almost crashed two days ago btw. I was coming up to a 4-way intersection where the road that came from my left had very bad visibility and drivers coming from that road had to give way for me according to our traffic rules but when I slowed down for the intersection and looked towards my right to check for cars that I might've had to stop for, a lady in a big blue Hyundai drove full speed through the intersection coming from my left so I slammed the brakes and locked all four wheels on the Beetle. It was close but if I'd crashed it'd be the lady's fault anyway and my repairs would be covered since she's the one who broke the traffic rules and drove very stupidly. This was also in a place with tons of houses where there are also very very many kids living around so driving that fast without enough visibility is stupid even in a straight line with no obstacles.
There wasn't one I could find, so here is as close as it gets :P
i couldn't find one for the ae86... :<

Not bought yet, plus this is the newer z32 (ran between 1989 and 1996) Whilst I am looking at the z31 -86. So it'd probably be like this but a bit worse. This is the only footage available.
There is not a single video or picture of my blazer's crash testing. Did they not test the thing?
not bad
I actually did crashed at 30kph on a guardrail once, the bumper only had a 4-5cm crack with some lost paint.
Only could find one of my moms car.
Not bad considering the short front. But the Rover 100 simply must be posted. 1 star Euro-NCAP rating.
"I didn't want legs anyway" This one is my personal favourite.
"I didn't want legs anyway" This one is my personal favourite.
That isn't a proper crash test though. That was a test of how much the crash test facility could take. Supposedly it was running about 100km/h and was loaded with concrete. I got the info from some other video but this one says most of the story aswell
Technically 6 years older but that was the most recent I could find, I guess no one cares to put F250 crash tests online anymore.
I used to have a Ford Focus, but I don't need to watch footage of that because I already crashed mine Pleased to say it's a good car in rear end collisions and rollovers.
I can't find one for my 1998 Avalon, so have the crash test for the European version of my Contour. :v: I've heard that they tend to break in half when in a side impact crash.

After all, it is a truck, meant to transport a lot of things, possibly heavy things. And there are places where you are allowed to go at 100 km/h (even though it's not a speed being used in the NCAP tests), which makes it pretty damn scary anyways.
