In all seriousness- I didn't exactly like it. Its not something I'd casually listen to, and I think it tried too hard to be something that it shouldn't.
More disturbing then anything.
HTDA is pretty good, but I still wish Trent never disbanded NIN.
(Even though this is incredibly similar, I need to hear his sweet voice in my ears again.)
I didn't mind the song, but, I have a sweet spot for trip hop. The video was trying way to hard.

He hasn't really. He just doesn't want to tour any more right now because of a bunch of reasons. His latest interview when talking about Blackops 2, he does mention he is still doing stuff for NIN.

NIN just recently released a new album, it was pretty cool actually. Check it out.

I dunno this is pretty standard Reznor work with a lady singing instead of him.

Saw him when he came through Texas with his last tour and he did the whole spiel about last tour and that he was gonna do other stuff.
nonetheless it was an amazing show.. im glad i got to see him before he supposedly stops touring!

It was trying so hard to be something that it ends up falling flat and possibly becomes the opposite of its intention. Not a very difficult concept.

I got to see them during that tour too.
Only time I ever saw NIN live though. :(
(Apparently they might do an occasional tour, but nothing for certain. Can only hope.)

Pretty sure that "new" album your talking about was the Pretty Hate Machine re-release, and if so it's exactly the same as the original release.
The last new album they released was The Slip, and that was quite a while ago.
