Thanks man, not easy to dial in with those biggass strings!
I don't consider myself much of a metal fan, but this was pretty great.
I feel like the mixing on your vocals could've been better, since they kinda got drowned in the music, so it was a little bit hard to actually hear the lyrics.
But from what I could hear, you've got a great voice for it, keep it up!
Watched, listened, enjoyed, followed! Looking forward to hearing more from you in the future man!
What would you say your influences are? This reminds me of a few other bands I've heard, but I can't exactly remember their names.

I have tons of influences since I try to do something new with every song I do  My main general influences are music-wise: Progressive metal, Nu metal, Hiphop and some alternative rock/metal. Bandwise that would be a huge ass list but during the time I wrote the song I mostly listened to Staind, Karnivool, Meshuggah, Sees, Korn, Limp Bizkit and tons of other bands I can't name out of my head right now
Sweet guitar stuff there man. Usually not a fan of this type of metal, but this song really stuck with me, you guys make some awesome tunes.
Very heavy driving sound, which I absolutely adore.

Thank you! Remember that it's only me doing the music  I play all the instruments, its a one man band.
That murderous, barrel-chested sound is filthy like a spilled cafeteria dumpster in a swamp gutter.
Subscribed, enjoyed, will definitely blast in my car this morning.

Been listening to your album, bad ass man. Just want to say thanks for the bitchin tunes.

Nah man, keep them a little buried, they sound real dirty (in a good way).
Nah man, keep them a little buried, they sound real dirty (in a good way).
I agree with him. The way vocals sink into the music sounds amateurish. Everything else was great but the mixing part easily separates amateur from more advanced one. But it's a matter of taste in the end.
My man. <3 You've come a long way, passed your knowledge on to me and keep puking out amazing tunes that inspire me even more.
Caynug is love, Caynug is life.
I honestly think you surpassed some of the bands you mentioned as inspiration. I was also really digging the "light" Meshuggah influences.
I love all of you! Passion overflow right here!
Like meshuggah, korn and gojira had a collab

Holy shit thanks for the comparison! I love these freaking bands. I might just paste that into my artist description :v:
good god that is some nice bass mixing, i can hear it rumble through my headphones
also, what tuning did you use for this song? those look like some pretty heavy strings on the guitar
Very good man! The only thing i would say improve is the vocals were little drowned out by the other music. Otherwise you got success written all over this.

The tuning is Drop C#... lowest note 15 semitones lower than standard tuning. Those are 20-90 strings, bridge cables. Thank you dude!

jesus, that's akin to bass guitar or baritone guitar strings
you might as well be playing a six string bass at that point

While it might seem like it, it's absolutely not the same thing in every aspect. The scale length, string cores, frets, pickups, feel and tone is still completely different. I play a 5 string bass aswell and if you are curious, I actually made a full album only using that said 5 string bass guitar with various FX sounds. Almost all is played with slap technique and distortion or other effects on "Chemical". Check it out

The down-tuned mud of meshuggah, the edginess and vocals of mnemic and the speed of electric wizard.
I don't mean any offense, it's just the things that I am reminded of when listening to this song. Also feel a bit of Car Bomb in it.
Interesting combination!
I love your stuff, Darkslicer/Caynug, been following you for a while. I happen to have the same baritone guitar as you, too! :)
