Just giving the heads-up that Tested's 24-hour livestream marathon is starting in about 8 minutes at time of posting.
We’re pleased to announce OCTOBERKAST 2013, our third-annual 24-hour podcast marathon… you know, for charity. That’s right, Gary Whitta, Norman Chan, and I looked deep into our hearts one more time and decided that we're ready to spend 24 consecutive hours one more time to raise money for a few good causes. This year, Will, Norm, Gary, and Joey will be joined by Roberto Baldwin, Veronica Belmont, Phil Broughton, Colin Campbell, Vinny Caravella, Loyd Case, Roger Chang, Bill Doran, Alexis Gallisá, Jeff Gerstmann, Darren Gladstone, Jeff Green, The Idle Thumbs (Jake Rodkin and Chris Remo), Carl Merriam, Brad Muir, Patrick Norton, Adam Savage, Drew Scanlon, Brad Shoemaker, Dave Snider, and Jeremy Williams! These wonderful people, plus a LEGO build-off between Will and Norm, Norm's Oculus Endurance Challenge, Oculus Horror (presented by Patrick Klepek), awesome stuff to give away, and 24 non-stop hours of Will, Norm, and Gary suffering. It sounds like a pretty good way to spend a day.
Nice lineup. Sounds like a party! Always loved Tested since the Whiskey Media days. Some noble charities, too.
I'll probably watch bits and pieces of the livestream, then listen to the whole thing on the podcast, if they upload it in chunks like they did last time.

I hate Norm, he puts me off the Tested videos. He repeats EVERYTHING people say and interrupts them all the time. [editline]26th October 2013[/editline] He isn't so bad in something like this, but in the other videos when he is talking to people that are pitching their product he is annoying as hell.
Norm is a little bit of a dullard yeah, but Will and Gary make up for it.
I feel like Norm is improving though, he was much worse with the repeating before than he is now in my opinion. My biggest pet peeve with Norm now is honestly his body stance and gestures when he is interviewing people: He has a tendency of doing kind of an aha gesture a lot when listening to people talk.
I'm really tempted to donate to the Electronic Frontier Foundation with all the going's on recently.
i cant believe ive been watching this entire thing
