This is why I loved metal shop in high school. Drafting, cutting, scoring, lathing, milling, refining and polishing something from scrap is so satisfying.

Oh god that is so satisfying
He could have just replaced the button with a magnet as well. That was my first thought, you still get the leather case, still held in with a cover flap, and half the effort of dealing with a button.
I want to see more things Adam has worked on. I guess I never stopped to ponder his life outside of Myth Busters.
Started watching and that one guy that keeps talking about the obvious is getting on my nerves a bit.
Edit: Okay, a lot. He's just breathing down Adam's neck and being obnoxious, let the man work in peace.

Stops a lot of stupid questions from being sent to them, I assume. Need someone to help the layman who can't even handle Google for simple answers (not that they should be attempting metal or any sort of handyman work if this is the case).

I never learnt the name of most tools and techniques so Will is really helping me out by asking stupid questions and commenting on what is being done.

he built a case just for his blade runner gun prop.

you can go through the tested archives and watch some of the adam's cave stuffs and the one day builds to see what he's built off cam and on cam.
I always find it funny that people underestimate the tiny saw, it fucking wrecks wood.
This video made me want to rewatch one of their panels but I can't remember which one it was. Maybe it was just Adam. They were talking about their safety during the first days of Mythbusters and how they did pretty stupid things with black powder. Anyone have better memory than me?
I love how Adam has a special tool for every inconvenience he comes across. That's a nice workshop.
My friend bought me a leatherman for my 21st and man it is the coolest piece of kit.
I don't use it nearly enough to justify making that though, I barely put it on my belt as it is.
Damn that is cool.

Ahem, the correct term is "hyneman".
phew, its nice to see someone else completely botching the size of the metal. I swear I've got to be cursed since no matter how many times check my measurements I always seem to end up way off
I almost impulse bought that ruler he showed off
Adam Savage has a custom model of everything. If something isn't up to his own preferences, he just makes his own.
I'm impressed at that hammer. I need to get me one of those

This, if someone finds out who makes them, could ya link it in here?

Every Craftsman would happily explain what they're doing and share a story or two about particular tools in their workshop, guaranteed.

Apparently I have good taste in multitools.
You mean to say there exists other multitools?
Honestly with how perfect the Wave is, not really. It's almost entirely a feel thing too - it works perfectly well, sure, but the weight and how each tool swings out and locks makes it almost too satisfying to use.

I'm still using my Leatherman Wingman, it was $25 and the quality is amazing for the price. Spring loaded pliers and scissors to boot. Not as fancy as the Wave but I bought it with a gift card I had lying around but it works for me.
Seeing how well the saw works though, I'm tempted to get a Wave now.
