This is my first true attempt at a score/composition, in the orchestral form. Any advice and criticism is welcome, just try and keep it constructive.

Thanks for listening.

Download was pretty quick, seems like a good site.
(listening to it now)
The drums were way off, I just realized. Updated OP.
Did you intend to make the discordant sections seem like the orchestra is playing wrong notes, or were you trying to create a good discordant harmony?
Because from 2:07 to 2:45 or whatever seemed like the orchestra didn't know what to play. Discordant parts are very hard to do well, you should try to copy some parts from Igor Stravinsky( my idol lol ) to learn about them.

You have some very good melodies and 'epic' parts there, but also there's too much going on. The long chords/notes that violins play seem like they're randomly made up at times, and it just goes on and on.
You had 3 movements(were they movements?) that sounded pretty much the same, with a loud ending in each. Movements are usually way longer than 3 minutes, and are very different from each other. You could combine these three to one movement( without pauses ), and add some other melodies and instruments there.
Good use of volume there though, I can see this playing in the background of a movie. Is this meant to sound like a soundtrack for a movie?

This is really damn good advice man, thanks a LOT. And yep, it is meant to sound like it's out of a movie :P
I'll definitely give Stravinsky a thorough listen. In the mean time listen to the updated track.
To be honest, I liked it alot except for the parts I mentioned earlier. Good work for a first piece.

I don't like how the violins transition from one note to another though, you should look into that. Usually it sounds smooth, like sliding from one note to another, but in this the notes just get cut off and the next note starts with a low volume.

Got it.
Forget what I said about movements, since it's a movie soundtrack it really doesn't matter.
Here's a tip: Try using more than one chord.
That distorted bass feels awkward at the beginning. I think it needs a lot of tweaking, some good mixing, and a good feeling of time or movement put into place. There is a lack of direction in some parts.

Keep working though.

There is more than one chord in it.

I think we're listening to different versions. Mine is only 1:08 long.
