This is another concern. I was talking to my girlfriend about this, what if something big like a natural disaster happens near the date? people are going to go wild no matter what. I am not going to lie, if more natural disasters happen nearer the date even ill start to become afraid. I am not afraid right now, but im not letting the whole thing go over my head like most people do. There is a strong party and a shit load of web sites saying it will happen and giving specific reasons, and then there is a shit load of people saying that it isn't but without as many reasons as the doomsayers. But i guess there is allot more ways you can make a world explode so its no wonder they have more ''proof''
Not sure but after seeing how much shit is going down recently I can expect a near downfall of our economy and self destruction, in nothing less than two-three years

I don't think the world will end in 2012. Most of what I've heard as "proof" is just silly shit about mayans.

That is another thing i don't understand about this theory. They say that the mayans had a calendar that leads up to 2012 and ends abruptly. They also say that it was the time the mayans were wiped out. Okay, i have two questions for you.. 1. How the hell do they know they were wiped out on this specific date? 2. Since when does a calender ending mean the end of the world? i am pretty sure last time i checked my calender ended too
I don't think it will end. But it's scary what some people are thinking of doing beforehand. I've read somewhere that some mothers want to kill their kids so they won't experience 2012, that is some psycho and scary stuff.

Here's the thing, the world could end anytime, any day of any year. You don't have control over how or when it happens, so why worry about it? Just go on living your life day by day, because you can't really do much about it.
