[url=http://www.oxegen.ie/2009/]Oxegen[/url] is a music festival held yearly near Dublin (Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co.Kildare to be specific). There's 4 days of music and bant - starting on Thursday 9th July and closing on Monday 13th July. I think he thinks I meant country, and it's Derry now. Londonderry is the main city in Derry

Must save money to buy a ticket! Already bought my tickets to Oasis in Slane, Now all my friends want to go to this. Damn I need a job.
€200 for 3 day non-Camping = Hard rocking/Getting smashed
€225 for 3 day camping = Hard Rocking/Getting Smashed/Random Sex/More Getting smashed
This doesn't even cover drinking expenses however.
I'm from Tyrone, I'm not a 100% sure I'm going yet but I hear Oxygen doesn't exactly sell out like epic concerts.

That''s because the venue is massive. Tickets last year went on sale in November 07(Pre-line up tickets, before the line-up is announced)but sold out in May 08.

I'd go but I'd only get a vague sense of enjoyment from the Manics, The Mars Volta and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Maybe if a few of my mates are going again this year I'll go.

Bloc Party is reason enough to go. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere near this festival. I hope everyone that goes has an excellent time, though!
