The woman, who has not been named, was taken to hospital but later pronounced dead.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/live-teacher-stabbed-death-corpus-3470176
The call to police came from the ambulance service shortly before 12:00 BST. Mr Beldon added: "The situation is under control and officers, including safer schools officers and members of the local neighbourhood policing team, are currently at the school and are liaising closely with staff." He said the "rest of the school is continuing to operate as normal". Mr Beldon stressed that parents of pupils at the school should "not attend the site unless directly requested to do so by the school". The college has 950 pupils and according to its website it retains "traditional values", describing these as "a strong Christian ethos, a broad and varied curriculum, good teaching and learning, excellent discipline and outstanding pastoral care".

Spanish teacher Anne Maguire, 61, was taken to hospital following the attack but later pronounced dead.
No life should be ended in a job that you enjoy Sources speculate that this child pictured below by the name of William Cornick is the person arrested for the crime, yet this is still to be confirmed by the press
This is like the school next closest to me, it's literally down the road from mine The woman that was stabbed taught my dad years ago
I wonder Why.
If this had been a Muslim 'faith school' the whole fucking country would be in uproar about it being a religious school, but here the kid's just crazy (as would be the case no matter what the religion, or lack thereof, of the school). I hate this double standard. This is absolutely terrible, though. Imagining something like this happening at a school, where people are meant to be safe, especially to a teacher.
Imagining something like this happening at a school, where people are meant to be safe, especially to a teacher.
I never felt safe or secure about myself in a school. I say this honestly. Ive been to some pretty terrible ones and ive seen stuff like this been dealt with.
What the fuck.. I can only wonder what kind of a life the kid had lived that led up to the point of him stabbing a teacher to death. So who and why?
This is why I kept a knife on me when I moved to a new school... Then I got caught with it and got suspended for a month and 1 year probation (got off 6 months for good behavior). I never trusted anyone there and I had it for my own self-defense but the administration assumed I was going to assault someone. Sucks for the teacher though. There's no reason for that. Especially with a job that you kind of just don't expect to die doing. But, now-a-days.. Being a teacher is almost as risky as being a police officer.
the administration assumed I was going to assault someone.
No shit:
I never trusted anyone there and I had it for my own self-defense
Sounds like serious paranoia, have you ever spoken to a professional.
LoL, you must have issues if you feel the need to carry a knife to school for self defence.
I don't really think that it's an irrational fear, especially if you've been in some sort of fight before.
I don't really think that it's an irrational fear, especially if you've been in some sort of fight before.
true, but your school has to be pretty bad if you have to result in bringing a fucking knife to defend yourself.
LoL, you must have issues if you feel the need to carry a knife to school for self defence. No shit: Sounds like serious paranoia, have you ever spoken to a professional.
You must be pretty fucking pampered to say that while reading a thread about a teacher who got stabbed to death by a student.
I don't really think that it's an irrational fear, especially if you've been in some sort of fight before.
Who cares, it's still retarded. When there are weapons and they get used, bad things happen. That's the point of confiscating them.
Who cares, it's still retarded. When there are weapons and they get used, bad things happen.
You must be pretty fucking pampered to say that while reading a thread about a teacher who got stabbed to death by a student.
I don't think so, I've lived in some shitty areas (there's a dealer basically opposite my house and a policewoman was shot a 5 minute walk away about 5 months ago) and had friends who've been quite into crime. A friend of mine from school went to prison at 17 for aggravated burglary (he was hench when he came out), I know a few people who've been inside, had family in prison. I wouldn't say I've had a pampered life at all, aside from growing up in a good household
You must be pretty fucking pampered to say that while reading a thread about a teacher who got stabbed to death by a student.
one teacher got stabbed in a school i guess that means i should start taking a knife into school every day theres a difference between being pampered and having common sense
true, but your school has to be pretty bad if you have to result in bringing a fucking knife to defend yourself.
Meanwhile... In California. People with automatic weapons in the trunk. Not as unlikely as you think.
one teacher got stabbed in a school i guess that means i should start taking a knife into school every day threes a difference between being pampered and having common sense
Well if you're scared of being hurt then yeah, bringing a knife to school makes perfect sense. Only a pampered person who has never had to be scared for his well-being would be unable to understand that.

No sane person takes a knife to school to feel safer or protected, that's a stupid excuse.
You should have been excluded from that school altogether you fucking moron. No sane person takes a knife to school to feel safer or protected, that's a stupid excuse.
Because a teacher being stabbed to death is sane?
You should have been excluded from that school altogether you fucking moron. No sane person takes a knife to school to feel safer or protected, that's a stupid excuse.
Why do some of you think bringing a knife for protection is irrational? Have any of you ever been jumped by a group of people? Have any of you ever been assaulted with a weapon or object in a fight? Shit happens, I understand why he carries a knife on him.
LoL, you must have issues if you feel the need to carry a knife to school for self defence.
Seriously? You don't seem to realize how rough some schools are. Back in MIDDLE SCHOOL I was threatened with being stabbed on a near daily basis.

This is such a terrible thing, may she rest in peace. I got sent this link to a picture of him that is being shared around, apparently he did it because he was put on detention. Another persons say's he'd been on the Jack Daniels this morning. It's all hear say at the moment though.

I'd start stabbing people if I was in a Christian school as well, can't blame the kid. Forced to pray and do scripter, listen to preachers. That'd drive any non-believer insane.
The teacher was a few months from retirement http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-27201812

He was really quiet though and didn’t say much.’ Another ex-pupil said the 15-year-old often went into school carrying Jack Daniels and beer and that he was a ‘goth’ who drew circles on the floor, claiming to worship the devil. A third said: ‘He was an outcast. He was bullied in year 7 but then he got a few friends. One of the teachers used to chat to him about his family issues. He added: ‘He came to a party a few weeks ago and he took some paracetamol beforehand. He used to take drugs all the time.’ But fellow pupil Jacob Hill, 16, of Leeds, said: ‘He had gone through stages of depression and used to be on anti-depressants.
[editline]29th April 2014[/editline] Wait
Police trawling social media accounts of schoolboy, 15, accused of stabbing teacher who was 'obsessed with online video game where lone cursed character travels through fantasy world killing others'
This reads like it was the teacher who played Dark Souls.
