lets see who can find the biggest caesium explosion, go!
get some francium up in this bitch ;D
You can hear someone whistling in disbelief in the background at the end, haha.
Haha that's why I love chemistry
damn valence electrons you scary
We heard about someone who put about 2 fist size of Sodium in a nearby lake in a hole that they drilled through the ice.
There were a huge fireball.

There can only be one!
Looks like a movie that you watch in school.
It is a movie you watch in school.
There can only be one!
there can only be EIGHT :hist101:
Cesium.
:psyduck:
My crazy teacher had a vial pointing at a monitor, he then inserted sodium which exploded after a while. Luckily the monitor wasn't hit by the hot water.
Guys, there isn't enough Francium on the earth to even think about doing a reaction test.
Looks like a movie that you watch in school.
It was the exact film I saw in school.
Now I really just want to see like a kilo of francium go off in a lake :)
One ton of Cesium, One swimming pool.
Where the fuck is the popcorn?

Unfortunately, francium is radioactive with a maximum half life of 22 minutes.
It is also calculated that there is at most 30 g of francium in the earth's crust at any time
I like his name, ironnica
Soft metal. Don't tell kids this, or they're argue with other kids. Nothing hurts an ego more than knowing you're right and everyone else telling you you're wrong.
There's something very satisfying about watching him cut those metals with a knife.
My favorite metals are rutherfordium, plutonium, tungsten, and gold :D

a kilo of francium doesn't exist on the planet, in total there's maybe... an ounce
a kilo of francium doesn't exist on the planet, in total there's maybe... an ounce
I read there were only 14 francium atoms in the whole world. That was 3 years ago, though.
I want to see bunch of caesium pellets thrown into a tank of elemental flourine.

Collect it all up and waste it for a youtube video anyway
