She probably uses the little channel between her middle ear and the back of her throat.
IIRC there are tubes on the inside of your throat that lead to your ears which purpose is to hear your own voice clearer or something like that, kinda like what suddenimpact said
I'm very curious as to how she discovered she could even do this.
Doesn't that require you to have busted your eardrums up so fluid can flow through?

There is the ear drum before that which closes this inner space there which connects to the tube.
