Every single time CCP releases a video like this, it reduces me into a pile of nerd tears.
Carbon Character technology? Check.
Butterfly effect? Check.
Every expansion video? Check.
This video? Check.
Oh god, I was going to unsub. Not no more.
Oh my god I hope this turns into a 2142-EVE mix
If they make any drastic changes to the gameplay as seen in the video, I'd consider starting EVE again. The game was too much like a business simulator to me, and the thing which annoyed me most was the training times.
Isn't the whole soldier thing from that DUST game they have coming up?

Yup.
When they actually get Dust out, I am so fucking playing it.
I tried eve and liked it, but it costs much more than any other MMO per month
I have a friend who plays EVE like a crazy motherfucker. I bet he will cum buckets over this. It sure got me intregued.
I cannot get enough of this video. I have watched it atleast 5 times today.

Not sure what you're talking about. It costs less than WoW.

Trailer looks all awesome and stuff, but just bear in mind it won't even be remotely as awesome in the real game.
I am heavily disappointed at CCP for releasing DUST514 (the combat on ground stuff you've seen) on consoles only. Bullcrap.

WoW: 13€
EVE: 15€
holy fuck if they turn this into a huge open world space sim with shooter elements thrown in I'll consider rejoining it holy fuck.

Alright, but don't forget that you don't have to buy EVE, unlike WoW.

Shooter elements are from Dust 514, console spin-off on the same server as EVE.
Makes me proud to be icelandic :D
Rarely does a video game trailer put a smile on my face.

I think WoW's more like 13,90€ but still, cheaper than EVE.
EVE is 14,95€
Those cents, they count.

The thing is, you pay 5€ and get EVE and all it's expansions, ever. If you want all WoW expansions you've got to pay more than that.
Don't forget eventually you can pay off your subscription with in-game money
Gallente just got their asses kicked.
Also that Caldari tank looks slick as hell.

This actually happens to me every year. In 2007, I was cruising with a bunch of guys and a titan. They wanted me to scout ahead since I had a light craft, and the enemy wouldn't shoot me.
The second time, I was using that Titian (A full year later mind you) and we were taking out an alliance capital.
Two years after the Titian battle, and two years after finishing EvE (The Titian battle was actually my going away party :v:) I came back, and I was using a different account. Flying as a battleship (Which took a good two months to get) was flying my own course, fighting my own battles, and got picked up by another alliance when a fight got too tough. That was back in November. I need to get flying again.
i would totally play this game if i didnt have to pay a monthly fee...
Oh my gosh what an exciting and interesting trailer, it's like the complete opposite of what EVE Online is.
HAHAHAHA CCP is dreaming again.
I really am quiet anxious to see how this system of interlinking the games works out.
EVE is more fun to hear about then to play, in my opinion. The drama it starts always makes for a good read.
It's sooo good, but that damned subscription....daaamnit.
Looks like Mass Effect
They always seem to have entertaining trailers.
Also, Eve: Forever, delayed.
Dust 514 is going to be a separate game, probably not even going to be on PC (from what I've heard). It's basically an FPS set in the EVE Universe, linked up to the EVE Server and interacts with the EVE Universe.
We're talking about jumping on Dust and looking up contracts to fight in made by real player corps, then jumping into a battle thats raging for both Dust and EVE players.
Interesting shit.
