I leave it on 40%, stuff is still visible, doesn't hurt the eyes and it saves energy. It's a win-win IMO. Also the screen is a meter away from me so everything is save.

Yes, your eyes usually wander around the screen, but it's still a flat panel you're looking at. It's strains your eyes pretty bad. [editline]6th April 2013[/editline] And also causes shitloads of eye symptons, just google it.
