Estradasphere. You'll know them best for this song. Another good song of theirs They don't have that much songs on youtube I guess, but I have their whole discography and it's kickin rad :buddy:
Cage the Elephant - Aint No Rest for the Wicked Love the game and the band [editline]1st March 2011[/editline] Oh yeah and quite a bit of good songs in Alan Wake, not from bands I know but I quite liked them. Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Rolling Stones were both featured in the last Call of Duty game, which was a pleasant surprise, and I've discovered Cage The Elephant trough Borderlands.
The GTA games have some great bands on their radios.
Brutal Legend. Enough said. :sax: Oh, and Yes did the credits to Homeworld, they wrote an actual new song for it and it's fucking amazing.
Most of my favourite games have soundtracks made specifically for the game sooo yeah, no favourite games here. But I know decent games with music from some favourite bands. Like "All The Same" by Does It Offend You, Yeah? used in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Also, Rock Band and Guitar Hero, obviously. Rock Band more, for their Dear And The Headlights DLC songs. Also lol Audiosurf :B
Sonic Mayhem. They made that awesome Quake 2 soundtrack.
I use a custom playlist for FIFA11 :smug:
In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, and Megadeth all have songs in Brutal Legend.
This probably doesn't count, but a few months ago I was working (I work in a game store) and I heard a song I recognize. I was like "What the fuck?". Walked over to the Kinect advertisement and the MOTHERFUCKERS WERE USING MATT AND KIM - DAYLIGHT
3 Inches of Blood (Tony Hawk Underground 2 and Brütal Legend) Johnny Cash (Tony Hawk Underground 2) The Ink Spots (Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas)
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas got some good music.
I don't normally like rap music but this was a pretty good song imo:
Guitar Hero :downs: Tool and Rush appearing in GH4 and GH6 respectively was a nice surprise And KING CRIMSON in GH5 :aaa:
Guitar Hero :downs: Tool and Rush appearing in GH4 and GH6 respectively was a nice surprise And KING CRIMSON in GH5 :aaa:
Roundabout, Llama, Free Bird and fucking Bohemian Rhapsody in Rock Band 3. :flashfap:
