Congress is voting on an amendment right now that would defund and limit the NSA's domestic surveillance program. Go to this site: http://defundthensa.com/ Enter your zipcode, and call up your representative and tell them to support Representative Amash's amendment to HR-2397.
I called. Fuck the police.
Tell the NSA to stop building a database that helps the government track suspected terrorists, and is ONLY accessed to see what calls a confirmed terrorist called? Nah.
Is this only for America, or the rest of the world? Also, wish I could vote, but I'm not part of America's political system, which is a bit of a shame because this is a political topic which affect me, yet I have no way of changing that. Globalization: restricting democracy since whenever.

Unfortunately, the amendment failed by 12 votes.
The Amash amendment to defund the NSA's domestic surveilance program nearly passed with a vote of 205-217 in the House of Representatives.
Well that sucks. Hopefully all the representatives that voted for it aren't added to some sort of watchlist.

Do you really think that any member of congress gives a shit about what you think?

I'd rather have a family living in a big-ass tax money-eating house to decide everything than having a president.
I don't see why people think these online sites like this will make much impact. Do you think someones going to see it and be like "ohhh, alright they got us... PACK IT UP GUYS SHOWS OVER"

But you have to give some credit... if it weren't for the founding father's hate for a central government and the checks and balances in the constitution we would have been in something similar to nazi Germany a long time ago.
Unfortunately, nowadays the executive branch has way more power than what was originally outlined in the Constitution.
What? No. The legislative branch is the problem.
What? No. The legislative branch is the problem.
The entire government in its current state is the problem.
Well, america is dead now. We can be spied on by the government.
Because Congress listens to the people right?
