I'm surprised it isn't PETA this time. Some group is suing Oscar Mayer and Hebrew National for not putting warning labels on Hot dogs.
The suit, by a group that promotes a meat-free diet, seeks to require cancer-risk labels on processed meats. Nutrition experts say foods that go along with the hot dog may be more dangerous.

"Just as tobacco causes lung cancer, processed meats are linked to colon cancer," said Neal Barnard, president of the Cancer Project and an adjunct professor at the George Washington University medical school in Washington, D.C. "Companies that sell hot dogs are well aware of the danger, and their customers deserve the same information."

The lawsuit acknowledges debate over how the consumption of some types of meats leads to greater cancer risk, but it argues that that doesn't negate a need for warnings on hot dogs. "This situation is similar to the link between the smoking of tobacco products and lung cancer: While all the molecular events linking the smoking of tobacco to the development of lung cancer are not known, the link cannot be disputed," the lawsuit states. I thought this was common knowledge. Doesn't stop me from enjoying a hot dog now and then. If it's not one thing it's another, gonna get cancer from something sooner or later.
Everything gives you cancer apparently, i call bullshit.
Cancer is inevitable.
You can drown in water, should we put warnings on water bottles?
Every single thing in my house that can be consumed, causes cancer. I must stop eating now!
Everything edible is okay in small doses, that shit is common knowledge and doesn't require any warning labels.
What doesn't give you cancer nowadays?
-snip- God dammit, ninja'd.
Breathing causes cancer, we should all stop breathing :haw:
Hotdogs are gross shit burgers

It is true, "everything" does give you cancer. The primary cause of cancer today is the diet - our foods have become too dependent upon preservatives which are absolutely terrible for you. The modern diet began sometime in the 40s, and it took about 30/40 years to get the full effect. [editline]02:24PM[/editline] doesn't mean I'm going to stop eating hot dogs
everything can give you cancer.
In soviet Russia, cancers cause you hotdogs.
What better way to promote it than say everything with meat causes cancer?
PETA needs to take a few pointers from these guys.
Everything causes cancer. Even the fucking treatments for cancer cause cancer.
What better way to promote it than say everything with meat causes cancer?
I'm going to steal their tactics, and say that a meat-free diet causes cancer.
