I doubt you've ever eaten proper crepes after reading that, crepes aren't supposed to stick to the roof of your mouth at all. You can fill them with syrup, sugar, icecream, and whatever else you want, then you roll them up to eat.

Seriously, the word "pancake" doesn't have a strict definition. Here in Sweden, we call these pancakes:

In Europe this "crepe", is considered a pancake
Here in America, the Crepe is pretty much exclusively a French creation, according to places with breakfast menus. Which, obviously, is stupid and incorrect but, y'know, America.

I think there's something to be said about both, really. A crepe can have a nice crispness to it and can be more savory than a pancake can but a pancake is super filling and amazing with sweets and fruits.
Personally i love both equally and quite a bit.

Is using that many eggs in pancakes normal in the UK? The way my dad taught me to make pancakes, you only use one egg.
i thought he would have an apparatus of some type attached to all the materials to make the crepes and play the game with them as he made them/
