• Is "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Worth Watching?

I've heard mixed reactions. Both were basically "It's the best movie ever made" and "It's the worst movie ever made". My friend says that it's a very clever and "manly" comedy and to check it out. My film teacher says that it's the worst Cohen Brothers film and that it's not very entertaining. Then again, he hated "Donnie Darko" and "Pulp Fiction". What does FP think of "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"?
I liked it. It's hilarious.
I liked it, but you might not. Watch some trailers.
Definitely, it's one of my favorite movies. I must've watched it at least 50 times, I have no idea why people would think it's the worst movie ever made.
I liked it, but you might not. Watch some trailers.
I love the Cohen Brothers (Excluding No Country For Old Men. I found it to be dull excluding Anton.), and this movie LOOKS awesome, but I'm not sure.
One of the best movies I've ever watched. The style and acting are great. Edit: And it's under 2 hours long, so what exactly are you gonna lose by taking the time to watch a movie?
Yes, it's awesome.
It's good. I didn't like the way it ended much, but since it was basically a retelling of the Odyssey, it fits the storyline and the main point of the Odyssey.
It's an incredible story! You have to be intelligent to get it, though. You should definitely watch it. The soundtrack is also beautiful.
It's based loosely off of the Odyssey. It's one of my favorite movies, I think you'll like it.
It's my favorite movie, and the soundtrack is AWESOME.
Damn right it is.
It's pretty damn good.
Yes. Coen Brothers film. Self-answering question.
If you love the Coen Brother's more wacky stuff like Raising Arizona, then you'll like it.
From your statement I have concluded that your film teacher has odd tastes in movies. It is most defiantly worth watching
I loved it. It's got a good cast too.
I loved it. Definitely worth watching.
It's a really good entertaining film, check it out pal!
Your teacher is dumb.
Your teacher is dumb.
He's incredibly intelligent, but his movie taste is very strange. His favorite movie of all time is the 1974 movie "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", but he actually has interesting reasons as to why.
Yes.
It's friggen hilarious.
It's friggen hilarious.
Damn, we're in a tight spot!
Yeah it's really great.

It's a good movie indeed. I got to watch it in English because of something about it being like the Odyssey or something.
It's a Coen Brother's film. It's an experience and you shouldn't miss out on it. If you're at all familiar with the epic poem The Odyssey, you'll really get a kick out of this as it's loosely based around it, with the events that occur in this based around what happened in The Odyssey, like the encounter with the Sirens and the Cyclops. Such an awesome film, really. This question has to be asked? It's one of the greatest films i've ever seen. The soundtrack is amazing and unmatched as well, I have a copy on CD and it's great for roadtrips.
Probably because TCM is a great fucking movie.
That it is, but not the best.
