• Student-president forced to step down after "offensive" images are taken
The former black student body president at a pricey New Jersey prep school was forced to resign from her leadership position earlier this year after she posted a series of photos on the Internet, in which she is seen dressed as what she describes to be the typical male, white student at the school. In the photos, former Lawrenceville School Student Body President Maya Peterson is seen wearing L.L. Bean duck boots, a Yale University sweatshirt and is holding a hockey stick, which she says is representative of the typical 'Lawrenceville boi.'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2675939/Black-student-body-president-nations-expensive-prep-school-forced-resign-offensive-photos-dressed-typical-white-male-students-emerge.html tbh this is kinda hilarious.
Well that's just silly.

Student president mocking students on the internet what did you think was going to happen.
I'm so offended, school administration please protect me. Make the bad person go away.
black person being racist for once

it looks like a bloke
it looks like a bloke
She's a butch lesbian so yeah.
How did she even get elected, white guilt??
snip
Student council president should not make fun at all But at the same time these images are not offensive at all, just mildly amusing
So would a white dude dressed up like a gangsta black guy be funny too? Or racist?
So would a white dude dressed up like a gangsta black guy be funny too? Or racist?
Not getting into this.
How did she even get elected, white guilt??
nope, jews funded his campaign
There are pretty funny actually; especially the one of her looking like a right upper class git sitting on the leather armchair. The one with her sitting on the chair in shorts is a little... weird, but other than that it's all pretty well done and funny.
I think some of the stuff she did was kinda funny, but she shat the bed when it came to handling the backlash. A school president can't do shit like that.
From the article she seems impossible to be around. Like a tumblrette trying to make you feel guilty for being white 24/7.
How did she even get elected, white guilt??
Maybe on her own academic and community merits? Like, c'mon, not every achievement of African Americans is due to "white guilt" lmao That being said, I do think her actions were a bit immature and the complaints made against her were valid. If she's going to represent the school she needs to be more professional and proper in her demeanor, especially at an Ivy League.
I think they voted for her ironically, knowing something like this would be the end result. It worked!
Hardly an accurate stereotype of white people, where is the Letter to the Editor about white guilt
When Obama was re-elected, Peterson wrote 'sorry to all the rich white men who have failed to elect a president that endorses their greed' on one of her social media accounts
Yeah doesn't sound like someone who would be too fun to be around. [editline]2nd July 2014[/editline] Also what the fuck is she on about, her parents are the same kind of people who would be sad about Obama, they paid for her tuition.

Thats an opinion not too dissimilar than that held by many facepunchers. They're just mad because she doesn't hold the same elitist values as they do.
Came in here expecting a girl who posted lewd pictures of herself. Thoroughly disappointed.
So would a white dude dressed up like a gangsta black guy be funny too? Or racist?
imo it would be funny. (Well if not for the fact that many white dudes already dress like gangstas.)
Reading the full article, she seems like a total cunt and I understand why she lost her position. Not really the images but her conduct. That being said I don't find her dressing as a stereotypical representation of a white person all that offensive because I am not a baby who finds stuff like this offensive.
So would a white dude dressed up like a gangsta black guy be funny too? Or racist?
They already do often, we call them trailer trash usually. And even more upper-class people did it too, blackface is pretty much what it's called when they take shoe polish or something and make themselves look black so they can mock black culture.
So would a white dude dressed up like a gangsta black guy be funny too? Or racist?
I think that's the point of what people on FP are saying, it is funny because neither should be considered racist
'As a black and Latino, gay woman in the United States of America, today is a momentous day,' she wrote. 'I’m sorry to all the rich white men who have failed to elect a president that endorses their greed.'
Oh my, and this was in 2012 when it was pretty obvious that Obama was just as much of a status quo dick sucker as the rest that came before him. ATTN: If you can afford to become a politician and actually manage to become president there is a 100% chance you will be beholden to those powerful, monied interests. Skin color and gender =/= real change, perhaps toxic people like her would know that if they weren't too busy flaunting their fashionable ironic racism and playing identity politics. In any case regardless if you find the photos offensive or not is irrelevant. Being a hateful douche is not a good way to engender anything other than hatred right back at you.
'As a black and Latino, gay woman in the United States of America, today is a momentous day,' she wrote. 'I’m sorry to all the rich white men who have failed to elect a president that endorses their greed.'
Because the best way to fix race, gender, sexual orientation, and income inequality is to belittle other people about their race, gender, sexual orientation, and income! Remember: The more ways to blindly objectify a party as racist, sexist, homophobic, and class-ist, the more problems will be solved and all the inequality will just drain away! Eye for an eye always works!
So would a white dude dressed up like a gangsta black guy be funny too? Or racist?
I dunno I found it pretty funny. If you couldn't take that joke it's your problem, not mine.
