Cool. Ill be waiting for a release soon! :smug:
Ghostbusters, anyone?
Ghostbusters, anyone?
Ok Grabs Proton pack*
That is awesome. I though that was it at the beginning, but it kept getting better.
Loving the little muzzleflash at the end, also multiplayer looks like a possibility.
That is awesome. Gets much better near the end, they need to make a new decal for where it hits the wall though.
Looks pretty awesome.
that last one looked the best.
Don't cross the streams!
It looked great at the end, but guess what, it ain't the final. It's gonna look even better in the release!
Any shred of care I had for Black Mesa has melted away over the years. When it comes out it'll be neat, but I'm not really waiting on anything at this point. Sorta like how Goldeneye Source had so much hype up and then faded into relative obscurity after first release
Now get someone to remake this in Gmod... :v:
Don't cross the streams!
God damn you!
Shit that looked awesome
What exactly did the alt-fire do in HL anyway, he fiddled with that handle thing on top, but did it do anything?
Loving the little muzzleflash at the end, also multiplayer looks like a possibility.
They've confirmed multiplayer, and suggested co-op a while ago.
I liked the second last the best.
That was an idle animation.
Nuh-uh, if you right click, he does it.
Holy shit I hope we get to play with that third person camera :pcgaming:
I can see their scientists still have terrible coat tail rigging. Why don't they just make the coat tails into jigglebones? But the Gluon itself is quite impressive.
When is Black Mesa supposed to be released?
They're aiming for this year, but it seems a bit unlikely.
I can see their scientists still have terrible coat tail rigging. Why don't they just make the coat tails into jigglebones? But the Gluon itself is quite impressive.
no jigglebones because it's not on the orangebox engine. they spent an huge chunk of time implementing a particle system when there is one already in the orangebox engine.
no jigglebones because it's not on the orangebox engine. they spent an huge chunk of time implementing a particle system when there is one already in the orangebox engine.
They put jigglebones on a potted plant model though.
they probably didn't do anything fancy to anything else in the video because what they wanted to show off was the gluon gun, not lab coats. They have converted to OB engine, and the scientists' coats do have great jigglebones.
no jigglebones because it's not on the orangebox engine. they spent an huge chunk of time implementing a particle system when there is one already in the orangebox engine.
I'm pretty sure they did upgrade to the orange box engine, I think I read it somewhere. Rate me boxes if I'm wrong though.
I'm pretty sure they did upgrade to the orange box engine, I think I read it somewhere. Rate me boxes if I'm wrong though.
You are correct, the lead developer said it a while back in the questions forum on their forums. I don't care how long it takes to develop, it's going to be fantastic.
for some reason i kept expecting the medic from tf2 to say something during the video.
What exactly did the alt-fire do in HL anyway, he fiddled with that handle thing on top, but did it do anything?
For me , if I pressed left click , then right , the beam sound would stop but it'd continue going and damaging.
