Dang, why the Wil Wheaton hate. I doubt he wrote the trashy skit. Saying Wil Wheaton is known for forgettable characters is hilarious. He's helped drastically with normalizing various aspects of nerd culture including tabletop games, even if he has jumped on the tumblr bandwagon he's still a decent guy.
If he agreed to the do the "trashy skit" that you are assuming was written for him then he shares blame for the skit regardless.
Saying Wil Wheaton is known for forgettable characters is hilarious.
The only thing I remember him from was being the most annoying character on TNG. The only thing I really know of him for now is being one of the most annoying "nerd culture" "celebrities".
He's helped drastically with normalizing various aspects of nerd culture including tabletop games, even if he has jumped on the tumblr bandwagon he's still a decent guy.
The character/stature of a person does not absolve them of their ideas being subject to critique or scrutiny, especially when their ideas are shit.

http://i.imgur.com/GuZWWnN.png -says shit like this [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CUivuuwUcAArA8b.png[/t] and more that i don't have on-hand right now.
He's a smug, self-righteous prick who has firmly planted his ass on the Social Justice bandwagon and has been known to pull this "legitimate criticism is really just sexism" shit before. Just look at how he reacts when people criticize his buddies Felicia Day and Anita Sarkessian. And don't forget antics like when he had a hissyfit with the producer for his tabletop game webshow because he (Wil) misread the rules of the game they were playing. Or how about that time he responded to news of a female GamerGate supporter receiving harassment (notably, someone printing out a picture of her, jizzing on it, and tweeting it to her) by claiming that she was just making it up? It's ironic. He pretty much turned the phrase "don't be a dick" into his personal catchphrase yet he's the biggest dick out of all these "Nerd Culture" celebrities.
I like Wil Wheaton but I hate all that sjw bullshit he posts. I mean, not everyone is perfect though, so I'm not going to let it bother me.

How about let nerds decide.

I guess being decently popular means whatever you say is right.
1/100 of 0 is 0 right?
Contributing to gaming culture is a bit of a stretch, but you can't deny The Guild helped prove how successful independent web series' could be. But still, Wil is a dick. I used to like him, not so much now.
I think I can say that because I've never seen that horse outside of like one commercial and shitposts on 4chan. She's more of a nobody than Wil is. He lives in a bubble where all these nobodies are somebodies and everyone on the internet is a vile sexist and he has to stand up for women because they aren't capable of doing it themselves. The latest peer reviewed studies in a prestigious scientific journal have shown that rational thought cannot penetrate this bubble.
I really just don't get this "white people run the world" shit The rich cunts who actually run the world don't give two tugs of a dead dog's cock about anyone with less than a 9 digit net worth. Skin color doesn't even factor into it. Why the fuck would it? People with power look out for other people with power. Skin color does not bestow power. Money does. Ergo, people with money control the world, and specific races don't. I don't understand why this shit even needs to be explained.
I still don't know what Felicia Day has contributed to anything other than a decently popular webseries. I guess being decently popular means whatever you say is right.
Can we actually get him reported and banned for twitter harrasment? Or does that only work when they say this shit against women? It'd be a fitting end for him to be banned from the censorship department of twitter for being a censorship supporting cuck.

He might make some mean remarks about you on twitter and proceed to ignore your statement.

The people they revile and decry the most of all use the exact same logic they do. I cannot fathom how anyone could be so belligerently and aggressively confident in such an obviously ridiculous and hypocritical world view.
Nope. He's on the protected list.
There's a protected list? As in, people who are exempt from being banned no matter how many rules they break? That's fucked up.
There's a protected list? As in, people who are exempt from being banned no matter how many rules they break? That's fucked up.
It usually comes down to knowing someone who works for Twitter.
As for strong female video game characters, he forgot the literal best soldier of all time!
didn't this guy think the navy seals copypaste was a serious death threat when someone sent it to him?
didn't this guy think the navy seals copypaste was a serious death threat when someone sent it to him?
That was his wife. I find it pretty concerning that someone even married this fucker.
There's a protected list? As in, people who are exempt from being banned no matter how many rules they break? I choose to ignore political beliefs when deciding whether or not to respect someone, just creates drama. An excellent example of this in the modern day is Jonathan McIntosh, one of the most blatant "wealthy white guy living in a privileged bubble" stereotypes out there who insists the woes of the world are not from the rich exploiting the poor, but from the white man exploiting women and colored people.

Rulers throughout history have always aligned their serfs against other races and ethnic groups to distract them from how shitty they're being treated. It appeals to the tribal lizard brain.
Uuuh...it REALLY looks like Wheatons video is entirely satire. Isn't it?

At this point there are quite a few people who owe their Youtube/Twitch careers to Felicia Day.
