Following my sister in the mid 80's, my mother worked in close proximity to several specific commercial pesticides in the late 80's. The result was the defective thing they call me. Both my parents and my cousins mother, worked in a silicon wafer production facility, with lots of ultra sonic machines and nasty chemicals. My older brother has pretty severe cerebral palsy, my cousin had a birth defect that fucked up his eye and lots of my dads co workers have kids with down syndrome and/or retarded. My mom worked there until she took maternity leave as did my cousins mom.

Maybe some answers are better than none, even if they're based in faith. But the thing is, this is science and researchers are working as hard as they can to figure this out.
