Turkish security forces found a 2kg cylinder with sarin gas after searching the homes of Syrian militants from the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Nusra Front who were previously detained, Turkish media reports. The gas was reportedly going to be used in a bomb.
The sarin gas was found in the homes of suspected Syrian Islamists detained in the southern provinces of Adana and Mersia following a search by Turkish police on Wednesday, reports say. The gas was allegedly going to be used to carry out an attack in the southern Turkish city of Adana.
On Monday, Turkish special anti-terror forces arrested 12 suspected members of the Al-Nusra Front, the Al-Qaeda affiliated group which has been dubbed "the most aggressive and successful arm” of the Syrian rebels. The group was designated a terrorist organization by the United States in December.
Police also reportedly found a cache of weapons, documents and digital data which will be reviewed by police.
Following the searches, five of those detained were released following medical examinations at the Forensic Medicine Institution Adana. Seven suspects remain in custody. Turkish authorities are yet to comment on the arrests.

Looks like Allen Snackbar got a tad bit gassy!
The fact that they found a canister of Sarin nerve gas in the possession of a member of a group tied with Al-Qaeda scares the ever living fuck out of me. I thought they had shit like that locked down really fucking tight.
Thank god they found it. Imagine a dirty bomb going off in massively populated city like Istanbul.
For a moment I thought this was about an actual turkey finding something.
I don't really want to know how dangerous sarin gas is, do I.

There's a reason the world agrees that chemical warfare is incredibly unethical.

Dirty bombs are explosives with nuclear materials mixed in to cause a radioactive area. Sarin is a chemical weapon

According to wiki, about 500 times more deadly than cyanide.

Contagious? it's a chemical weapon, not a biological.

If you read the link, you'd know that sarin gas can stay on your clothing for up to 30 minutes. Pretty contagious if you ask me.
is there any sources on this other than the three you've got? RT is hardly credible

Well, contagious at a loose definition means easily spread
And sarin is definitely easy to spread.
which make's me ask why the fuck would UN want to arm any side of Syrian Rebel Army's
The UN would be so unbelievably hostile to the idea of arming the rebels trust me. You're thinking of NATO or the EU

Isn't it just Britain and France? Not the EU.

I'm sure Syria is a prime example of why Western Intervention in Foreign domestic conflicts is a bad idea if Libya didn't teach us enough yet.

It's only Britain and France that wanna arm them. To which the EU is saying "hell no" for good reason.
But I think the EU lifted the embargo a couple days ago. Which is insane.
Both sides think they're fighting the bad guy. So they're both getting weapons handed to them. This won't end well on a short OR long term.

Is Russia Still sending in loads of Guns?
Is Russia Still sending in loads of Guns?
The Syrian military, like the US military, is pretty much saturated with ground equipment and small arms, afaik they've no interest in purchasing more of those. They have their eyes set on the S-300 contract being fulfilled, and that MiG-29 purchase.
That country is going to have a lot of fucking guns in it after all this shit is over

Also is there any reason why the Rebels cant buy off of Russia like Assad does? Is it Principle on the Syrians part or more likely that Russians don't want to lose the Assad contract?

In Syria they have it in little packets in restaurants.

The Russians have a naval base in Syria and they are a ally of Russia. It is in the interests of Russia that Assad wins.
