Do you think that facepunch has made you a better writer?
I think it has made me a fantastic writer. When it came to the smartness levels in the old days, I used to always be in the negatives, so I would always revise my words.
I think it has made me a much better writer and typer, what do you think?

It's definitely corrected my grammar tenfold. I do believe that it has made me into a better writer overall, especially the old smartness system.
Definite yes. :v:
Fast threads thinks so too
Yes, i am now faster and more accurate at spelling then my peers.
Fuck yeah, smartness really changed my life
Ooohh yeah.
Back when there was smartness it helped me type with grammar, use punctuation and make sure I capitalized my sentences.
It's been going downhill a little bit since then, but it's still helped me out a LOT.
Facepunch taught me They're, their, and there. Facepunch also taught me Your and you're. I had shit grades before. BUY FACEPUNCH TODAY
I've improved significantly, however more so during the days of smartness.

I is capitalized.
Fuck yes, but I was here after smartness anyways.
Not really, I have always been good.
Yes, I am much better now.
nop
If they brought back smartness, then facepunch would be filled with grammatically correct scholars and idiots trying to get the lowest smartness possible.
And Scholars is a correct term, considering most, if not all of facepunch users are students.
Yes :3:
Yes, I think.
I is capitalized.
And it's "than", not "then"
Yes, atleast I think so.
Indefinitely.
Writing and typing are two different things.
There's more to writing than just using accurate grammar and using words that are more than 1 syllable.
Yup.
If I never went to facepunch I would probably still be typing like a 10 year old and use smileys like

When I see that kind of shit now, especially smileys, it kinda annoys me.
Yes totally , and it made my English way better then it was before.
I still use smilies in IMs sometimes but in coursework facepunch has helped my writing.
And only my writing.
Yep.
In fact, I have a 100(actually 102.23%) in my grades for L.A. No joke.
I've always typed using correct grammar but I owe it to Firefox for correcting any and all spelling mistakes.
Yes. Yes. 100% Yes.
I love smartness.
Not to mention, I've matured alot since I joined.

It's a lot, and not alot.
Definitely.
Remember remember.
2006.
Somewhat, but now it is a bit more relaxed. When smartness system was still in place I would often double check and learn from the mistakes I made. It really wasn't that bad, it put a end to 1337 speak, Text message lingo, ect But it isn't so bad, you got a few people now and then that can't help but to be awful posters.
