Ok, so, I hope this is the right section for this kind of question. Assuming it is, considering it's the art area...
Anyway. My friend is making a website for my gaming clan and we have a flag. Now, I'd like the flag to be animated and flap in the wind like a real flag would, but I have no idea how to do this.
Can someone help me out? Point me to a website that can do this with uploaded files, or maybe help me do it myself or do it for me? If a commission is required I can pay a few bucks for it to be done.
Easiest and most efficient way would be to use Photoshop's "animation" feature. Frame by frame. Around 12 frames should be okay to make it loop.
Draw each frame by itself, making the flag flap slowly and make sure the last frame is one tick before what the first frame should look like, then loop it.
It's basic animation really, either you learn how to do it or you can't do it, it's hard to teach you how to make a loop.
I wouldn't know where to begin making it look like it's flapping... I can make and edit pictures to an OK degree, but I'm not that great at photoshop. It'd probably end up looking like shit.
