Sure, random construction company, you can fill all the doorways to the abandoned parts of the office complex with drywall but there will always be a way in. "The Door That Was Open" would be the title of a movie about my life as an explorer. Where is this place? it looks like it was awesome to explore because its not falling apart yet
Somewhere in New England. The ceiling of this place was falling apart, but it was mostly dangling bits of insulation and wires that had fallen through. Nothing too bad. Lots of flooding in the basement levels though, to the point where I didn't want to risk going down there without a mask on.
This place has a fairly sad history too. Telecommunications company builds and operates out of a huge facility. The year 2000 rolls around and the dot-com bubble bursts, almost running this company straight into the ground. They manage to limp around until 2006, when they finally wave the white flag. The last workers lock the doors in December 2008. Company is bankrupt and immediate re-purposing of building begins. Yes, it is. The high-res photo allows you to zoom and read all of it. The top three pages are an e-mail version of the classic God story "Meet Me In The Stairwell". The first two pages on the bottom are pictures of the damage and the bottom right page is a "Remember the Troops" motivational style thing.
