• Gamefly - Is it Worth It?

Hey guys. I've recently been thinking about actually making a Gamefly account, but I don't know if it's worth my $25 or $15 a month. I think it's cool that you can keep it as long as you'd like, but I don't know if it's really worthe the money. Anyone have an account and use it often? Is it really worth that money? Thanks. - Zach
Eh, only if you want to "TRY" games. It's not really a "I can rent shit as long as i want". I wouldn't do it.
I like to buy my games. One of the biggest appeals for videogames is the multiplayer, which increases it's value and re-playability. Paying money per month to play one or two games and then having to send it back seems like a downer to me, but if you're just playing single player and going through the story or even just play some multiplayer with your friends, I can definitely see the appeal there.
I use it, love it. You can rent DS games! And if you like the game enough you can buy it and they send you the case.
I would never pay monthly to play any game or to have an account to play games.
If you think $15 dollars a month is worth being able to have a game out is worth it then you should get it. if not don't waste your time.
I'm biased on this. Get it, it's awesome.
I had it like years ago. Shit was so cash.
Use blockbuster.
I had it like years ago. Shit was so cash.
Lol..
Use blockbuster.
No. Don't. D:
It's really nice if you like playing lots of different games but can't afford them
No. Don't. D:
Why not?
it's... alright. gamefly has it's pros and cons. i would only do it if there's a lot of games you feel like trying first. otherwise, save up and buy them.
because they give you a limit on how long you have the game Fucking blockbuster :arghfist::saddowns:
because they give you a limit on how long you have the game Fucking blockbuster :arghfist::saddowns:
No, they don't. Ever hear of no late fees?
Blockbuster has been charging more and more over the years for renting out games.
No, they don't. Ever hear of no late fees?
They took back that policy. Stop by your Blockbuster and see for yourself. 5-day game rentals.
No, they don't. Ever hear of no late fees?
they took that away because people were keeping things for months
Use blockbuster.
Considering most are closing down (at least where I live) and they charge $9 per rental, only do it if you want to rent a game occasionally. If you rent games often go with Gamefly.
they took that away because people were keeping things for months
lol i was one of those people
lol i was one of those people
Thanks asshole.
Thanks asshole.
Still have
Worth it to me no, but if you paid money and get no satisfaction, than it should be no to you.
Didn't Blockbuster go out of business? (To the people talking about using Blockbuster)
I only play a few games, all of them are multiplayer so it wouldn't suit me atall.
Didn't Blockbuster go out of business? (To the people talking about using Blockbuster)
Not in Canada atleast
Gamefly fucking helped close the Gamecrazy near me. Now I need to drive out to the fucking mall to buy games. Goddamnit.
Seems alright, I'd rather just buy games though.
Didn't Blockbuster go out of business? (To the people talking about using Blockbuster)
Still plenty around here
I think Blockbuster is going to rent solely Online, and they'll close all their Brick and Mortars eventually.
