Why did I imagine the bear was ice skating and ran over the guy or fell on him?
After the initial trauma of the incident, the other handlers must have thought about how ridiculous the death was.
What an awesome way to die, to be killed by an ice-skating bear.
I just can't wrap my head around the concept. I wish I could have been in the room when for the first time men were passing around ideas for a new attraction, and one of them quite seriously suggests something along the lines of "bears, man, bears on fucking ice skates, playing ice hockey" and the whole room is just like "BRILLIANT!"
And then consider the types of people who pay to see these shows. "Boy it sure is a good day to sit defenseless within feet of a wild animal on ice skates who can't even be controlled by its handlers".
Maybe I'm just too afraid of things that can kill me to take this seriously.
