that was a pretty heroic move on the officer's part
Though that would be pretty damn awesome to see, still gotta wonder about the misthrow.
Wow, I could understand misthrowing an Object, but a grenade? That guy needs to pay more attention, hats off to the officer though.
he probably got chewed out like fucking crazy after that
Heroic, but these are the guys that will take over the world one day.
Wow, I could understand misthrowing an Object, but a grenade? That guy needs to pay more attention, hats off to the officer though.
Maybe he panicked and fumbled around to much?
I can't tell where it bounced back from. But these things obviously happened before, and that officer was the right guy for the job.
he probably got chewed out like fucking crazy after that
probably not as bad as you think, he seemed to let him go pretty quickly and those trenches are there for a reason, it was a bad throw but the bounce back was really unlikely

So when you throw you are more prone to throwing like a bitch.
That's an awesome instructor.
That's an awesome instructor.
he was like: "O no, glenade in tlenches, i have to save my comlade"
china
For some reason i have the feeling you get punished far worse in western countries.
he was like: "O no, glenade in tlenches, i have to save my comlade"
D- must try harder next time. Also kudos to the officer for thinking of the guy too, a lot of people probably would have just dived into the trench and left the guy.
he was like: "O no, glenade in tlenches, i have to save my comlade"
Idiot, Chinese people cannot pronounce L's, sounds like they are using R's.
Wow, I could understand misthrowing an Object, but a grenade? That guy needs to pay more attention, hats off to the officer though.
That's why there's training. If they thought anyone can throw a grenade like a football they wouldn't have this.
I would probably go "Ok, I'll do grenade training tomorrow, I just shit myself"
BTW, not the only time: Happened earlier
I think he just got nervous which prevented him from throwing it good. I don't blame him though I would imagine it's not easy holding something in your hand that could explode any second.
Also kudos to the officer for thinking of the guy too, a lot of people probably would have just dived into the trench and left the guy.
Well, the reason they have officers standing next to the person during grenade training in pretty much EVERY country is because they're supposed to drag the person behind cover if the thrower mucks up the throw. It's slightly different in every country, but the basic principle is that the instant the officer sees something go wrong, they'll either throw the guy to the ground, drag him behind cover, whatever. It doesn't happen very often, because all you're doing is throwing something over a wall, but on the off-chance that something like that DOES happen, the officer is always there to save the soldier's life. But yeah, he probably got reprimanded for that afterwards.

Oh god his feet make me laugh every time.
I love how he ripped him into the trench, like "You have to be in here in half a second or you're going to die"
I can totally see how a stick grenade can slip from a sweaty hand. It all makes sense now.
This is exactly what happens in Resistance and Liberation, except for the living part.
For some reason reminded me of Heartbreak Ridge.
It's almost like a strong gust of wind blew it back. I don't see anything that could have blocked it considering the guy threw it pretty high up.
BTW, not the only time: Happened earlier
That is very fast reaction.
