It was heavily inspired by Warhammer 40k and DooM's own respective hell/demon mythoses respectively. To the extent Valgor was originally a Khornate lord. But anyway. I'm posting what little actual passages i have here sheerly because A: I haven't been ritually humiliated nor flamed in months. And B: I sort of hoped that some of FP would join in, Possibly. Maybe. Perhaps. Making up passages and lore-related gubbinz, but. Anyway. First chapter: Condemnation. "He is but a wretch. A tyrannical human slave driver. He drives them to work until they are but dust. And then he has the backbone to slander their name. To claim they are not worthy, He shall learn, There is but no soul i shalt not wreak my havoc upon, No mind i shall not strike dumb. No flesh i will not tear. I am vendetta. I am the vengant lord of the great Enslaver* himself. The foulest wretch he can summon. I condemn thee. I NAME thee, Valgor. I condemn thy soul. To hell." - Condemnation 1:1 "I was struck down by a great, majestic titan, It was stricken with plague and wretched hacking and wheezing, It spread its pustule-inducing must unto the great city that was "London", I was but a feeble rat-like Human, living under the rule of one they called Queen Victoria, a matriarchal tyrant. Its large, putrid green foot strode above my head, Its other lowered towards my mortal being and crushed me into little more than a bloody mist. My organs shredded, my bones crumbled and were turned into ash, And my mind went with it." Condemnation 1:2 "My soul was flung, Through a molten tunnel of flesh and brimstone. blood seeped from the cracks, wretched and tortured souls reached out for me, They screamed and clawed the eyes out of their heads. They tore each other's flesh off, and feasted on it like mice. I saw a great fire burning at the bottom. I closed my eyes only to find i could see clean through them, I came to a stop in a great chamber. A large tower was ahead, Atop it stood six Lords, All for a different emotion, different creed. Hate and Malice, Plague and Pestilence, Pleasure and Pride, Sloth and Gluttony, Vengance and Vendetta, Envy and Jealousy, and of course, Slavery, Fire, Brimstone, and Hell itself. This sixth lord was not a lord, He was a god, His name was Satan." Condemnation 1:3 New Passage: "I was judged to be a foul, bloated creature. They condemned me to eternity in hell. I pleaded for mercy. They gave none, I was given my first punishment, To be cast unto the Maelstrom. A writhing, swirling pit of souls, emotions, and endless torture. They heaved me into it. I screamed and kicked, But they merely slathered over my face. howling like the beasts they were. Once i was inside, I saw the future, the past. The beginnings. ends. and fates of humankind. I screamed aloud for decades. I was doomed to be stuck in this hell forever..." Condemnation 1:3 *The Devil/Satan
Just to clarify the place of this: It is part of my own game concept "Knee Deep in Dead". a Doom-ish game in which the player fights to survive the Demonic invasion of london. [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] Automeeeeerge! :argh: [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] Clarification of that: I made Valgor as a character for the concept. and simply spun off this mythos from him
