Then, the Rushville physician charged $2 a head. Today, he asks patients for $5 but notes the increase occurred in the 1970s and hasn't changed since. (It should also be noted this fee isn't a copay - it covers the whole visit). Although the 88-year-old has been through a number of training updates, he's never taken a vacation, never switched nurses, and never altered the furniture. His clinic is like a flash back in time and the patients, who consider him a local hero, are grateful for it.
http://now.msn.com/money/0625-doctor-five-dollar-visits Best doctor.
I hope you enjoy hot wax and leeches
Never taken a vacation? He's true to the cause.
Easy for him to charge $5, the TARDIS takes care of all this needs.
I'm curious how the clinic survives on just $5 a person. Unless that rate is so incredibly low that he is constantly awash with patients paying. But even then it seems unimaginable.
what has this got to do with doctor who at all
what has this got to do with doctor who at all
He's old and his clinic is a step back in time.
It's just a badly formatted title.
No, it's: doctor who has worked.... not Doctor Who has worked.
Yeah, we can blame the OP for needlessly capitalizing every word in the title for that.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought it said "Doctor Who".
I Just Don't Understand Why Every Single Word Is Capitalised In The Title When It's Grammatically Incorrect And Looks Retarded.
I Just Don't Understand Why Every Single Word Is Capitalised In The Title When It's Grammatically Incorrect And Looks Retarded.
Last I checked that's how it is for titling things, except for small words like is and shit.
I Just Don't Understand Why Every Single Word Is Capitalised In The Title When It's Grammatically Incorrect And Looks Retarded.
Titles of Articles are Supposed to Be Capitalized, Though. -ninja'd However, it does look bad in thread titles.
I TOOK THE TITLE FROM GIZMODO/GAWKER GODAMMIT
I TOOK THE TITLE FROM GIZMODO/GAWKER GODAMMIT
THEY ARE JUST SAYING THAT THE TITLE IS A BIT MISLEADING, WHY ARE YOU YELLING RRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Last I checked that's how it is for titling things, except for small words like is and shit.
And it's still annoying as all hell either way.
What is it normal to pay for a doctors visit in the US?
Never taken a vacation? He's true to the cause.
More like he can't afford it.
Well, 5 dollars per patient should cover his jelly baby addiction.
Well, 5 dollars per patient should cover his jelly baby addiction.
what
He probably doesn't use all the expensive mordern analysis technologies(that are hardly needed anyway)
what
It's a Doctor Who reference.
This is the sort of person for whom I have the most respect. Selflessly sacrificing his time so that others can remain healthy.
Just five dollars? I'm moving to Illinois
Oh man, this Russel chap's quite the hard worker, it seems.
what
I'm betting he sends most serious cases away to a proper hospital and only really deals with minor things.
I'm betting he sends most serious cases away to a proper hospital and only really deals with minor things.
Would you pay 5$ for a brain surgerry?
Last I checked that's how it is for titling things, except for small words like is and shit.
incorrect. names follow that rule - titles, headlines etc. are different
