My teeth are far from perfect and my parents never had the money to take me to the dentist but i've always brushed my teeth and used mouthwash. I've only been to the dentist twice now in my life. I'm 17 years old. So the first time of course i'm scared because my teeth aren't great. I've got some problems but its not like i have a mouth full of cavities or something. The first dentist i went to basically called me and my teeth ugly and said I don't brush my teeth.. I was petrified to go back.. but I went to a different dentist today....I really want to get my issues taken care of. The dentist i went to today WAS NOT friendly whatsoever. He also accused me of not brushing my teeth. He said that i needed to have 3 extractions...didn't say whether those teeth were able to be saved or not...and he said and i quote..."you just don't brush your teeth..." WTF is wrong with these dentists? I'm already embarrassed enough about my teeth...I don't need them accusing me of not brushing which I do everyday. Anyone sick of this? By the way he said this out loud so everyone and their Moms could hear it.
Never really met a rude one, or even a rude doctor, so I can't really say.
I feel bad for you. Then I look in my mirror and see my naturally great teeth. Then I remember I'm british and I wake up from the dream.
I've been called a rude dentist before. I guess it's cause I tell the bitch to pack up and leave once I'm done being in her mouth.
Mine are alright, but I do hate it when my hygienist constantly pokes my gums with those sharp picks. they assume you don't brush because you haven't gotten more then two checkups those CLEAN your teeth too
I have a more mild version with my orthodontist. My last conversation with him ended like this: "So what will happen next time if I lost another bracket on the same side?" "I'll kick your butt" "Okay, thanks, see you" "Bye"
I guess it's cause I tell the bitch to pack up and leave once I'm done being in her mouth.
I told a bitch to pack up and leave after I was done being in her mouth. True to my word, she filed the divorce papers the next day.
I have a great Dentist. I walk in. I open my mouth. He puts his tool in. After 10 seconds, he's done. Then I go.
I'm not sure if he I would call it rude, but he did seem a bit angry. "WELL, SIR, MAYBE YOU SHOULD BRUSH YOUR TEETH MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK", then he walked off. He didn't yell it, but said it rather loudly. I brush my teeth every day :(
My friends' dentist used to give him money every time his teeth were cleaned :frown:

My dentist is pretty cool, but my orthodontist is an asshole.
Surprisingly enough dentists know their shit. If he thinks your not brushing your teeth right. You are not brushing your teeth right. Everyday is not enough if you brush them badly.
one of my teachers is a retired Dental Surgeon (lost three of his fingers so he can't perform surgery, so he decided to teach), he said he hates going to the dentist. so even dentists hate dentists :D
The worst dentist I ever had was one who chewed gun with his mouth open while working. Nothing ever happened, but I was always worried it would.
Dentists are usually never mean. I had to get three fillings done (my first ever cavities, I was nervous) and we joked about stuff the whole time.
my dentist is gay a gay man has been inside my mouth since i was 10 :smith: he is a swell guy though
I had the same problem, I went to a children's dentist once and she pulled a tiny flake of something from the corner of my mouth and she just kinda stared at it in disgust and told me that I have the worst teeth she's ever seen and then referred me to another dentist. Well, we went to the different dentist, and he said my teeth were in great shape, considering I havn't seen a dentist in like five years. I think they just try to scare you into asking for more expensive stuff. :ohdear:
my dentist is gay a gay man has been inside my mouth since i was 10 :smith: he is a swell guy though
Don't feel bad, I had a friend with the same experience. He works at the stripclub.
and brushing your teeth does not mean you are brushing them well...
My dentist is really nice, but she's a 40 year old woman so that probably explains it.
Why would you like a rude dentist?
It also annoys me when hairynosed dentists get as close to your face as possible.
Once, my mom went for a cleaning and the woman there made the same claim. The actual dentist came in after he heard her say that and told her "Don't you ever talk to one of my patients like that again."
They are not being rude, they are being honest. Your teeth need to be brushed, and you clearly are not doing enough to maintain them.
The worst dentist I ever had was one who chewed gun with his mouth open while working. Nothing ever happened, but I was always worried it would.
Try a dentist with bad breath :irony:. Shit man, I'm stuck in this chair with putrid breath slowly creeping through my nasal cavity for 45 minutes. Worst dentist ever.
Haven't met a rude dentist, but a few inexperienced ones. I kept getting one apparently new dentist and every single time she'd catch my gums with the little scraper whatever dentists use a say, "oops, sorry." Every. Single. Time. And it hurt. :saddowns:
My dentist has bad breath, so he breathes his nasty halitosis all over my face
Well, the worst dentist appointment I went to, he injected my gum to go numb but didn't wait long enough for it to take effect and pulled my tooth out. Only after it was out my mouth decided to go numb so for the rest of the day I had constant blood pouring out of my mouth and i couldn't feel it so i had to walk around like a retard with a tissue against my mouth.
