I've just finished this one up for my girlfriend's laptop.

You got that exactly from a tutorial. If I was your girlfriend I'd be a little upset that you didn't put some effort or personality into it.

Yes, I got it from a tutorial. It still takes all the work from the tutorial to do it, plus it is personal considering it has her name and a quote I've said to her quite a few times.

You even got lazy with the grass.. It's pretty known tutorial for your information, there's a high chance she knows it if she cares about photoshop and art in general.

So you are probably better off doing something different.

Wrong shading. The shade isn't going from where the light is.
Wrong text texture, the grass looks plastic.
Wrong ladybug's texture, the photo looks taken in a room, but there's a sky reflection on a bug.
Same with butterfly.

You've just wasted your time.

Try to be original.

It's good to read some tutorials, but don't base your work entirely on them.

Based the execution off a tutorial on warping, but almost completely different and original idea.
