I just found out why we have so much hate towards our Olympics from americans. It's because of a terrorist attack that took place in their Olympic Games in Atlanta, hurting more than a hundred people, and because of the big glitches and failures the event had.
I'm particularly amazed at how these Olympics were not as shit as everyone though it would be.

im pretty sure it's more because of how unsafe the surrounding area is and the high levels of polluted water, not to mention the rather poor treatment of other olympians by the home crowd
