Since we're heading into the ski season, i thought it was time for another thread.
Are you a fan of skiing or snowboarding?

I'll start off, I ski, I've never snowboarded, my favorite places to ski are the mountains around New Mexico, where I live, as they're close to home, and have surprisingly good skiing. I have a pair of Head Superlight Cyber X40's (picture at bottom) I've been skiing since i was 14, and I'm 18 now, so I've been at it for 4 years. I'd say I'm alright, but I still have a long ways to go. As far as gear goes, I have reasonably subdued gear, with a red jacket, and a black and white pair of pants.

I did snowboard once but I'm a poor fuck with no money to pay for lessons so I just twisted my legs and knees 24/7 and almost tore all of my tendons right off and exploded my joints clean off.
