found this some how and spagetti
So far not bad for a fan-made.
I saw this a few days ago. Animation's not that bad for something that's fanmade, and I'm really interested into how Goku and Vegeta are going to enter into this.
Only problem is that the voice-acting is kind of off at times, and there are moments where the animation looks swanky as all hell.
well it was the one of the few fan made stuff I could finish watching
there are some pretty weird angles at times
Decent animation, lower-than-average voice acting
man that animation is balls up the walls if only they had better voice actors.
This was really terrible. The decent effects animation was ruined by the ridiculous lack of anatomical and perspective knowledge. The thing about dbz characters is that while stylized they're still grounded in real anatomy just like all human/humanoid animation is. They also don't fit the characters in the environments right, which have really bad perspective to begin with so it just looks like bad characters floating over bad backdrops. Its really clear that these guys dont have any understanding of anatomy which is why everything looks so goddamn wonky. Look at the arm at 4:36. It's completely out of perspective, doesn't attach to the body correctly, and the torso shape is fuckin weird as shit. This type of beginner's mistake is everywhere in everything. They also completely lost the feel of dbz's animation and rendering style. I don't even enjoy dbz and even I can tell how bad this is.
This is unwatchable.
If the mustache guy goes super saiyin, does his mustache turn yellow too?

And does the balding one grow hair?

Sure, it's somewhat wonky but you got to give this credit for being an amateur flick
Not gonna lie this is actually a pretty interesting concept. If I would much rather have Toei do some thing like this rather then them trying to reboot the series with nothing changed.

Sorry being totally honest here I don't hand out brownie points for indie/amateur work just because it's not a professional production. Quality is quality and if they can't grasp something as basic as anatomy and perspective in their animations let alone stills then they are getting way ahead of themselves and just wasting their time when they could be improving.
It's kinda neat, and I like the voice of their villain guy, but...
Eh, I never liked this "Dragonball AF" shit. If you're going to continue the Dragonball continuity, I say abandon GT (because it was crap) and go from the end of Z.
Problem is though, Dragonball was already pretty tapped-out after DBZ ended, and GT just pissed on the ashes. You can't just keep having the characters grow in such leaps of strength every season. Frieza was the logical end-point, where Goku had beaten the tyrant of the Universe and avenged the Saiyans. Cell saga was pushing it, Buu saga did okay by awakening an ancient evil.
Nowadays, unless your villains are pandimensional, it's a HUGE stretch to suddenly introduce new "biggest power levels evar" from some random corner of the Universe and do the same dance again.
Plus, the Super Saiyan ascensions have become fucking retarded. GT introduced "Super Saiyan 4" which was the dumbest, most retarded looking thing I've ever seen, and the AF fanon shit just kept creating worse, busier and uglier levels with black eyes and grey hair, and... god, just, create a new generation of part-saiyans a hundred years from the end of Z or just forget it. The Super Saiyan thing peaked at SSJ3. Leave it alone already.

The whole "100 years after the events of DBZ" thing was actually done before in the form of Dragon Ball Online. It's not so bad, if I do say so myself.

This speaks for itself.

Virginia. Absalon GT edition.
I'm with DOG-GY.
It looks like whoever made is terrible at drawing people and they tried to cover it up with some flashy effects.
If you took those away, most of the character shots would look like low-end deviantart stuff.
Galo Sengen: Absalon
thats all i could think of when i saw the characters
still cool though

Well you're an idiot then, amateurs don't have the resources and manpower to produce anything like the professional production. Criticizing is one thing, but comparing them to professional studio's is retarded and you know it, also "getting way ahead of yourself" is the main motto for the human race since like what, 7000 years(Quantum mechanics and Astronomy for example)? there is no such thing as wasting time when you do something you like, and you always learn things along the way. Most people "improve" when they do something they want, I don't know about you but you can't improve yourself just by thinking you want to improve yourself.
Episode 2 feat. Super Saiyan Vegeta.

Honestly Vegeta looked exactly like this, and I know this video was intentionally animated bad, but my god that first angle on Vegeta.
wow, I used to watch it in the past.

are u dumb
working in animation before you can even draw is like trying to fly a plane when you don't even know how they get lift. the fact that they can get it done is proof that they have the resources and the manpower, just not the skill. by releasing something and calling it a finished product i have every right to compare them to a studio. do you let a shit indie game get a free pass just because it's not done by a huge studio?
[editline]21st December 2012[/editline]
also you don't get it. in art there is very much a thing such as getting ahead of yourself and wasting your time. if you are doing something like animation and you don't have a grasp on the prerequisites (drawing, anatomy) then you will always be a fucking terrible animator. it is not a process you can just jump into saying fuck everything and do a good job. you have to learn the basics first.
as for your examples of quantum mechanics and astronomy (which i really dont get why you said them it makes no fuckin sense) those are only possible in their current form because the people who did them studied hard, learned, and gained the skills required to aptly stand on the shoulders of their forefathers. you don't just jump into astronomy and start doing work. you have to learn about the simple things like gravity, other forces, lens optics, etc.
I didn't know Sasuke would be making a guest appearance.

Holy shit, I hadn't noticed the resemblance until now.
Better put in Naruto, his hair is already super saiyan. more like super stupid.
Razzle makes me want to put knives in my ears
And yet this is better then GT
