It's pretty strange how Nintendo remade that one song just to be used on a test cartridge.

The test cartridge allowed for testing of the SNES controllers, audio and video hardware.

P.S. : Would the correct term be remastered or remix?

Well as far as i'm concerned. It WAS on a SNES test cartridge.

Indeed. The man collects tons of testing equipment ( Which is actually surprising beceause those things have really high values. )

It's also interesting to note that the Burn-In test features graphics from older builds of Super Mario World.
